okay, i am looking for a good pasta recipe...

suggestions? i would prefer something with pasta and veggies, with no meat...

  2. one of my favorites is pasta that is in various shapes...the twisty kind, or pinwheel or something==not like plain spagetti or ziti....
cook and then cool the pasta
then put a pesto, italian dressing sort of thing on it (i like italian dressing the best)
throw a bunch of frozen or fresh veggies...i think brocolli and cauliflower are the best in it...and just eat it as a whole meal, snack, side whatever...its best when its really cold....

sorry if my wording sucks, its finals week and im not thinking very straight right now

Do you actually want to make the pasta, or just the sauce?

Pasta with veggies and no meat? Try pasta primavera. Primavera is the Italian word for spring (as in spring, summer, autumn and winter).

    just the sauce this time.

    hmmm. sounds good.

i really wanna make something lite. ya know, plain old "bow tie past with some veggies and oil" or something of the sort but with a little extra kick or some sort.

If your not opposed to clams, try this.

Sautee one small onion and two cloves of garlic (both finely chopped) in olive oil. When golden brown, add a can of minced clams followed by a small 8 oz. can of tomato suace, toss in a pinch of red pepper, and a pinch of salt, let simmer for a few minutes. Then serve over linguine, with some finely chopped parsley and fresh parmesan cheese. This is quick and easy, and hard to screw up.
