Greg Pason, a long time ESC member, is on WNYC, being interviewed. He's the Socialist Party candidate for NJ Senate.

Ten minute interview with Brian Lehrer. Greg came across pretty well with a somewhat sympathetic interviewer. But no mention of the Harrison project!

Saw him on NJ12 (Star-Ledger) network the other day. He lost my vote when he said "if you agree that the war on terrorism is terrorism itself, the Socialist Party is for you".

And he probably lost a lot of other votes calling for a maximum wage and socialized medicine. There's a reason he's not a Democrat, you know, and I suggest if he "lost" your vote, he probably never "had" it.

Thanks for picking up the pun, none intended. Good one.

I thought I wouldn't have to go back to Jersey for a while once the season ended, but I've been working with Greg Pason on his campaign.

New Jersey's got a good, hard-working and sincere candidate in Greg. He's done a hell of a job balancing his campaign, work, family life and support for Metro :)

I urge all of you to vote for Greg Pason on the 5th, if not because you agree with the need for economic justice, workers' rights, democracy, peace and human rights; then because you support Metro!

    -Jason

PS He hasn't really brought up the stadium bill, because that's a state Senate issue.

I don't "waste" my vote on major party candidates. With no Pat DiNizio running this time, I might have to vote for Ted Glick (Green Party).

I must agree, decent announcers, decent coverage. Even a pre and post game show. We have lots to complain about, but our TV coverage is generally not one of them. They even have a nice website specific to Metro.

Yet another reason to hate the MetroScum.

How humor-deprived are you? I'm retarded? That's precious.

    Re: Two Party System

Well, Ted Glick and Greg Pason's platform positions on John Ashcroft's "war on terrorism" are practically indistinguishable:

That's all either of them mean by stating they oppose the so-called "war on terrorism."

You can now resume your chest-thumping.

    Who combined these threads?

I agree that MSG did a respectable job on soccer coverage, unfortunately I can't vote for them for US Senate.

  23. If he is a champion of the Second Amendment and opposes human rights abuses by Islamofascists, he might get my vote.

Why? Because I chose not to follow an ideology that was dead before it began?
