Parma Vs Lazio This is a big game for us today, were playing one of our main rivals for 4th spot and we need a result today or it could be disasterous. Both clubs have lost insperational figures from their squads during the winter window, Adriano and Stankovic respectfully. Parma have lost their main sorce of gaols so now would be a good time to be playing them. They won 2-3 back in the olimpico in September so we should be able to do a job on them in the Tardini. we're up 1-0 near the end of the first half...Corradi was taken down for a PK which Lopez took... Couto is playing in defense for Miha from that lineup... inter is already up also..we need three points today.
Nice. And we're back in 4th! Piojo scores twice, including the penalty, and Corradi adds a third. Good 3-0 victory, on the road too. And as Inter was held by Sampdoria, we're still in good shape. Hopefully we can build on this - its a very good win.
By all accounts Piojo had a great game - scored two, provided the one for Corradi, and almost beat Frey with an outrageous lob that drifted just wide. If he could rediscover his form, we would be a much, much more dangerous side. Here's hoping we're able to pick up some of the pieces from this Parma side when they're forced to sell off. Someone like Frey is likely going to be too pricey (lets face it, Angelo's not getting any younger) but we should be able to get some help in defense, hopefully. But again - back in 4th, and its a good thing
this was a great win, especially with Inter drawing at Samp... Lopez back on form is a huge boost...Fiore also seems to be playing much better of late. Your are right about getting some of Parma's pieces in the summer, perhaps Bonera for defense as Ferrari will likely go for a higher price that Lazio can afford.
