In all seriousness, I really wonder what pcy and his dumb agent is really thinking here.
He hasn't done sh*t for arsenal, celta, and watford (3 clubs..) while being on the bench majority of his time, not to mention his incredibly lackluster World Cup/international appearances.

Realistically speaking, he won't find a club from European club from top 5 leagues to start for them and even if he wants bench role, his salary demands it appears would be outrageous. Does he ever want to be on the KNT again? Pcy needs to come backdown to earth and realize his value isn't there, instead of thinking himself to be a superstar (he once was a good player but we haven't seen that from him since 4 years ago...4 years).

Find a club that can start him...even if it's k-league or Middle East or whatever. He needs to start again and get consistent playing time instead of thinking he's establish so in his mind, he thinks he's too good for these "rubbish" leagues

This is ridiculous. While I don't like to side with netizens, maybe on this one I can see why they dislike him so much.

We may have to consider that maybe the man just wants to stop playing....mentally burned out.

Burned out from sitting on the bench or being at home as a reserve?

But if he is (which I don't think is the case), he should announce that. But sitting out a year without constant daily training with a club would be the end of his career even if he attempts a comeback

Knew you were going to say that....lol

But who knows what irreparable damage the time in arsenal did to his confidence

I remember doing this last year - checking this thread seeing that it gained like 15 new posts in the hopes that there was some awesome news story... deja vu.

Don't think it's rocket science that pjy lacks passion. Say what you want about ldg but at least he has passion and still continues to try to improve at his advanced soccer age.

At least it's been said publically now.

No need for us to worry over him if he doesn't care himself.

he could've been the greatest gift to Korean football since Cha Boom.. at least now we know why he got into such a slump. not sure if it happened because of Wenger but he shouldn't have taken his chances at Celta or Watford for granted. i refuse to take pity on a player that doesn't give it is 100%.
