    Nope, they're pretty bad because of the salary cap ($2.5million). Only the "Marquee" players which is three per team get decent amount of money whose salaries are exempt from the cap.

    probably holding out to the very last day of window (or weeks after given free agent status) for injuries or something else to make a club desperate to give him a whirl.

    He needs to go to a league where he will get playing time. Being a backup isn't going to help him out.
