What's going on with this week's game? It's not on the justin.tv stream that usually carries Monaco matches, and ESPN says it's supposed to start at 1PM EST. Anyone have a working stream?
How disappointing. I guess Korea v Zambia and the Man Utd games are all the football I'm going to get this weekend. Oh well, it could be much worse.
Park Joo-Young is back in action against Montpellier at Stade Louis II at 2PM EST Wed 1/13, 4AM KST Thurs 1/14
Park assists on the 3rd goal. Cross in by Alonso, volleyed first time by Park JY and the shot comes off the goalkeeper, Park is quick enough to get to the rebound and play into the path of Haruna. Monaco 3-0 Montpellier.
Park's teammate, a teenager Nigerian Lukman Haruna scores 2 for Monaco. Anyone know if this kid has a chance at an NT spot for Nigeria?
The coach of Montpellier as well as one of the players is expelled. Montpellier really struggling in the last 10 minutes.
Despite what someone said Lukman's position does not overlap with Mikel's, as Haruna is an offensive midfielder. I would say this performance definitely gives him a chance to make it to the World Cup squad... seeing the dearth or creative midfielders from Nigeria he is arguably the countries best bet... he may even become a starting player...
Thought Mikel traditionally plays a more offensive role w/ Nigeria but Chelsea plays him defensively. My people in Nigeria tell me the locals aren't happy with this reversal.
