yes, it was a poor back pass. Still Terry fell over, making it easy for RVP.

    Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal

RVP. Arsenal's saviour. He was untouchable before, now he probably walks on water for Arsenal fans.

RVP has now scored 28 goals in 27 Premier League games in 2011 - more than any other player.

great character win≥ seems to be some fight in the club now.

Gervinho just sucks in 1 v 1 situations.

well it is 3 points at Stamford Bridge.

it was a roller coaster of a game where Arsenal could have easily lost, having let in 3 goals and could have conceded more.

great moral boosting win - how many games is that in a row after the appalling start this season?

5 goals against Chelsea? they havent done that in as many a decade.

Defence still very shaky though. I understand weakened midfield this season, but not being able to defend set pieces at all is unacceptable. They need to hire a defensive coach. i understand they dont have one?

    Lol.

I love how you try and act like a Arsenal supporter in the Arsenal forum, but become a bitch of a Park supporter here.

too lazy to post over there but Ill be definitely bringing it up. he had some nice passing and got into good positions but those 1v1s were horrendous.

Haha great from RVP. And Mata's goal was heaps good. A quote from one of the commentators: "Arsenal are not a one man team, but they are not far from it."

i think K is trying to be as impartial as possible when he is in the Arsenal forum, which is not only good courtesy but more conducive to proper discussion and debate. In any case from what i've seen (admittedly only one thread) he says what he thinks and dont sugar coat it or worry about appearing like a fanboy.

personally, i watched Arsenal since the Premiership was formed and they were known as boring boring Arsenal under George Graham and their pitch was the one of the narrowest in the Premiership which was to the advantage of their strong backline. At the time I was too young to appreciate boring boring Arsenal.

even when Arsenal had the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Vieri, Pires, Tony Adams and David Seaman, still not a fan.

even Fever Pitch, didnt make me want Arsenal to do well in particular, although i really liked the book and film.

however this season, now that Arsenal has nearly become the 'underdogs' compared to the meteoric rise of Man City, Spurs getting back to the top 5 status a season or two ago, Liverpool seeming to have found its feet since the implosion last season, im starting to find myself supporting Arsenal a bit more.

and against Chelsea, its easy to support Arsenal as a neutral.

PJY being in Arsenal helps a bit, but im not a PJY fan either (as in i know he's got what it takes but not a personal fan), so even if PJY was not at Arsenal, today i would have supported Arsenal against Chelsea.

Not only is RVP hitting good form, but half of RVP's last six goals came gift wrapped from Gervinho. When it rains, it pours.

which means Gervinho may not be good at 1v1s but hes still doing a great job for Arsenal by that measure.

    Man City?

what can you do but laugh!

on the flip side if PJY starts that game, it would be another pseudo league game.

then again having said that i hope PJY get enough PT in the interim. Match against Man City will be a different kettle of fish whatever side they field. To have to prove yourself once more in this Quarter Final Carling Cup match will be far more difficult than the last Carling cup match.
