Looks like Arsenal fans like what they see. Hopefully Wenger likes it, too.

Chamakh will likely get another start / sub anyways to prove to Wenger that he's still got it. If he fails, expect to see more of Park.

I read on multiple sources, along with direct sources that his mother is Korean. Google is a wonderful tool when used appropriately.

Was it just this broadcast or is it reflective of all kroean broadcasts to be backward on the scoreboard (away vs home rather than home vs away).

Fox does this with MLS broadcasts as well. Strange and annoying.

indeed he corrects himself moments after the clip ends.

he must have got so excited that caused the slip of the tongue (he must indeed have had Ji-Sung's goals against Arsenal on the brain).

remember that clip was from Arsenal Player broadcast. They spent a lot of time discussing Park Ju-young before that 56min goal, all positive.

exactly. and it also works the other way.

    agree and lets hope so.

This. PJY has taken a step in the right direction, but its only the beginning of a long road ahead. The good thing is he has managed to seize the opportunity with both hands and it was a 'big' step in the right direction. We now have buy-ins from the fans and pundits, which will make it easier for Wenger play PJY more.

Hopefully he will be able to build momentum.

This. Lets enjoy yesterday for what it was, but not go over the top. Wenger has come out straight after the match yesterday and strongly indicated we will be seeing PJY in the league games soon, but lets manage our expectations.

Arsenal still favours 4231. Changing to 442 is something Arsenal is not ready to do, for one thing they don't have a strong and mobile defensive mid to act as a lynch pin and cover the other mids.

Also when PJY played in the 3rd round Carling Cup against Shrewsbury it was 442 with Chamakh. It didnt work out.

if Arsenal was leading the tables perhaps Wenger will experiment, but right now although they are heavily reliant on RVP, the current formation is bringing them results. Will you risk experimenting and changing formation when things are precarious as it is already and you dont have all the right players to implement the new formation well in the first place?

PJY on the wide? well read this:

PJY in the hole? Well Arshavin played just as well as PJY yesterday and that is his natural position.

All in all, dont expect to PJY getting a lot of PT for another couple of months at least. He will be given opportunities and it will depend on how he does, how his competition does and who Wenger gets in the January window.

Arsenal's problems are not the forward or the mfs...i see more urgency in the back 4. yes a propper natural winger would be nice too!

Sagna is out for how long?

I think the mf is in shambles, but luckily JW is coming back soon. Arteta is not doing it for me and its peculiar that he's escaped criticism so far. He's been drab and more importantly predictable. He's just not the same player he was 2 years ago. Hopefully he can hold the fort for a month or so but service up top has to improve. YB impressed me last night though.

Obviously he's not the only one to blame here but the offense just seems so stagnant with Arteta commanding the midfield. I have a bit of anxiety of what to expect when Park plays with more of the senior side. So many individuals trying to impress. Then again theres no denying that Wenger is winning matches so there.

Goes back to what you were saying about you're only as good as your last match. The tables were turned only a month ago when everyone on the Arse board was singing Arteta's praises and saying Benayoun looked poor.

Impressed me in the way that I wasn't expecting it. YB was pretty dynamic last night in addition to working his nuts off. All three, YB, Park and AA worked really well together. Great chemistry. I don't see much chemistry when Arteta is playing. or thus far anyways.
