Amione should get his backside out of Mexico. A truly bizarre move from his agent sending him to a comfortable retirement home at the age of 22. I don't think he has enough in him to ever make the seleccion but he'd still be better off trying and be a dependable CB as he has been in Europe already.

 

Not really up to speed with the Olympics squad, the French squad is crazy strong so I'm guesisng it's long odds on us to win the gold medal at this one, seems as if a lot of players haven't been given permission by their clubs to play which is a shame.

This is a tournament I can watch 100% relaxed, yeah it would be the cherry on the icing on the cake if we won it, but no big deal, imho, if we don't.

The team lost to Guinea? I’m having strong doubts that we even get out of the group. Masche is a walking disaster but we already knew that…

 

If Mascherano has any shame he'll resign today and they can fly Placente to Paris or wherever it is from Spain and send Aimar to L'Alcudia.

If he doesn't know what his best team is yet or the combinations he hasn't got a clue. You don't shuffle players game to game. No wonder there is no pattern and no cohesion esp. when you get a short time with a group. He's probably muddling their heads too with all sorts of tactical plans but without any clarity.

It'll be a miracle if this team medals. Not because there is a lack of ability in it but because of the serial failure in charge of it.

 

That game will be Masche's version of the Saudi Arabia match

This was the squad. There is absolutely no excuse for losing to Guinea. He really needs to be removed as soon as this tournament is over whatever happens. I hope the players esp. the older ones like Otamendi having experienced Maradona take it upon themselves to do their own thing as in 2018.
