Personally, I’m still irked about today’s (Yesterday’s) loss. It’s nothing to lose to the better side but it’s beyond annoying when you can easily win but blow your chances, particularly to a shit side that are representing the French.

I know the sting will go away in a day or so but I have said it before, we have to set standards from the bottom to top where winning is the only thing. Yes, in the past we dominated youth tournaments but never got it done at the senior level but now we are winning everything. This type of mentality needs to continue and personally I’m glad to see the anger that is coming back from home directed towards management. It can never be “Oh well, this tournament does not matter that much.” Once losing enters the psyche, at any level, it can be difficult to break away from it.

I’m also happy to see the players taking it seriously and are bitterly disappointed in the result.

Messi has always talked positively about his Olympic experience and created a standard of sacrificing himself for the team. I just kinda wish some of our higher profile youngsters took the initiative that he did and just left for the Olympics, no matter what the club’s told him. I’ve said it before, what are the clubs going to do? Terminate their contracts? Gimme a break.

I just hope that for once the AFA or Masche will do the right thing. Perhaps Masche can read the room and see that he’s not wanted for this role. Step aside and don’t return. He’s already embarrassed several times. The Sub 20 tournament will be held next year and qualifications will likely take place in Jan/Feb. We should qualify since Chile is hosting and there will be 4 additional spots. But nothing is promised,‘particularly if you have an incompetent manager.

He needs to understand that he won't get the time he has in the MLS. He has talent for sure but playing 2 seasons in the MLS has dulled him. That's why the likes of Redondo need to escape ASAP as well.

They can gloat all they like. When it comes to 2026 it will be a different story. I mean they fell flat on their backsides at the Euros. Rude boors booing a national anthem. But not unexpected. That's why they the French are the butt of many European jokes.

Otamendi could have taken the entire stadium and many of those jeering would have been running for their lives.

He has to go. He should do it now. We already have the u20 coaches we need in Placente and Aimar. They know all the u20 and u17s. Aimar for instance is like a mentor of sorts to Mastantuono.

I don't want our sparkling jewels of an incredibly talented generation coming through to be tainted by having been coached by a loser. Yep Masche you're a loser of a coach.

This u20 side indeed the u17s will be very deep and the least that is expected for both is reaching finals under any half decent coach. Which excludes baldy.

Comparing Tevez even though he was an arrogant so and so to Heskey is very insulting indeed. Heskey was one of the biggest donkey's on the international stage. One barely decent season with Leicester & Liverpool. He was as good a striker as he was at managing his tax affairs.

If Masche doesnt step down & if AFA decided to maintain him still, then watching through livescore probably a better option.

If you watch our youth side from 90s & 2000s, you almost cant tell its a youth side cause their passing play is identical to the senior side.

2008 side was exception when it comes to manager quality. The u23 guys were the likes of Messi, Aguero, Pocho, Di Maria. Coupled that with Roman & Masche, we,'re simply too much for anyone.

Simply everyone needs to get on to Twitter and the AFA page and ask that he be removed. Jokes and memes asides anyone concerned for our pibes needs to get involved. Just say we want Mascherano to resign or be sacked.

Keep crying all you want. Booing at other countries as we've already seen at other events in the Olympics. Like the mountain bike racing when Pidcock won. Lecturing about racism and sportsmanship. Remember this for a start.

Barcelona's Dembele offers 'sincere apologies' over racism storm - France 24

No wonder France is the butt of jokes in Europe. So far up themselves thinking they are the best at everything. Certainly at running away waving a white flag.

This guy has been registered since 2005 and he's never once factored into this forum. Now his useless ********ing nation thinks it's important because it's hosting the olympics. He's making a post here on the forum.

What a weak ********ing useless French, Marseille loser. :ROFLMAO:

The whole world is making fun of your country, you just have u23 win

France is going to go back into a trash country in a week where eveyrone will forget and will remember it for the depraved weak bunch of men that encompasses that nation. The only thing people will remember is the Uber eats league.

Ligue one, mcdonalds league can not even manage to save one of it's famous clubs burdeaux.
At least in Argentina, in the primera clubs don't die. You have the Euro and Saudi money and you still have shit teams, shit league and can't save them.

You have have fooled him, but you don't fool me. I know for a fact, French people and French football fans are the biggest cucks in the world.

I've never, ever, in my life seen a more inferior breed of homosapiens in my life. For Decades that air of inferioritity in your civlization.

Come on ! Relax ! It's just sport ! I simply expect Argentinians to be gracious in defeat just like they've always been humble in victory !
Anyway, I like Argentina a lot (serously): I really hope you guys win a second medal by the end of the Olympics

I'd rather the senior team win than the youth teams, as you say when our youth teams were winning everything the senior team won nothing.

Sure, but its still piss the fans off because the current pool of talents are closer to that 2000s era compare to the 2010s. Its all down to bad managing coupled with clubs refusing to release players. If only our pibes are willing to pull a Messi 2008 and said F off to his club.

The current olympics as a whole has been laughing stock of the entire planet.

Speaking of France, their golden boy Mbappe currently has zero CL & zero Ballon. Its actually funny Lautaro actually has bigger shot at it than Mbappe.

I see many of the athletes are complaining about the Olympic village. The rooms are crammed, the food is also awful and there has been little support. Not to mention, the lack of privacy. Many of the athletes are leaving and are staying at hotels. Kinda sad how little help the IOC and the village staff have done to accommodate these athletes.

I know 2028 the Olympic village will be held on the campus at UCLA. They will be staying in the dorms. Now, when I attended UCLA, I did not stay at the dorms but they are also going to be tight as well but they are gonna be more than accommodating. If UCLA will be taking care of the food, the athletes will be in good hands. The university was consistently ranked at the top as having the best food from all the universities in the country.

This has been one of the more forgettable Olympics I can recall other than the French embarrassing themselves.

I don't like racist, nationalist pigs. I've been here since 2005, even if I've posted rarely in the last years as I got more and more disinterested by football. But from time to time -let's say once every 20 years- I like to put my noise into Bigsoccer's septic tank.
