I think Doyle mostly has the right idea. A few guys who could be squad guys on the Copa team saved for the Olympics so we can see how they excel in larger roles (Pepi, Scally, Tillman, Tolkin, Booth etc) and using the overage spots on center backs (which will help us be competitive and also get a longer look at some options at one of our most uncertain positions).

Agree. I'd bring our top 3 CBs to the Copa (probably MRob/Richards/CCV as Doyle has) then grab 2 overage CBs from the next tier of guys. Clubs have a say in that too so whichever 2 of Zimmerman/McKenzie/Trusty/EPB/Sands/Miazga we're able to get released (McKenzie/Trusty would be an interesting duo as they're both young enough to be solidly in the mix for 2026 and they have a ton of experience playing together from their Philly days).
