Hayden Mullins from Crystal Palace. He's a central defender, who can also play RB and CM. He's apparently pretty good. It's an initial loan, that will allow him to be available for tonight's match, with a view to a permanent transfer soon after.

    The first of three

Rumors of Mark Burchill coming are circulating, but then that would ensure Jermain was off.

I wonder if it will be a money and Mellor deal for Defoe?

Can't really say that I have been all that impressed with Mr. Mullins in a West Ham shirt.

Quite frankly, I am not too excited about most of his signings ... although Deane did have a hat trick against the Baggies.

I'll give him some time. These guys are on the cheap as well.

Well, when we sell Defoe, we should have some cash, lets just hope his picks have more quality to them.

Then again, lets hope that Terry Brown lets him put the money back into the squad rather than somewhere else.

Tough to bring in quality to the 1st division. He just has to be shrewd and improve the squad and we'll be fine.

If he can get Carrick to play well, we'll be fine.
