I'm currently shopping around for a good boot and willing to pay up to $200 US. Pantofola d'oro boots especially the Emidia model caught my eye. It looks really classy and all but, is it all looks and no performance? does anybody have a pair of pantofola d'oros? They look like something out of an antique shop which i like, but are they good on the pitch?
I have a pair of 540 Mitica and Dream 2003 TF and I love it. If you appliciate a calf skin/Kangaroo leather, they are the best. Outsole is nothing special, I am kind of old school, so I like good old round cleats. Worked very good on firm ground. Dream 2003 TF is a nice shoes for new turf and hard ground. There are new line of soccer shoes out in June, so I am waiting for Dream 2004 with regular cleats.

they don't look like they offer very good traction, which i consider the most important aspect of a boot.
