...and now Luis Tejada has scored yet again for Juan Aurich - they're leading Alianza 2-1 at home at half-time in the all-inca Libertadores game.
And on that note, Juan Aurich has quickly secured Tejada, opting to contract him for the next 2 tourneys, obviously due to the interest he has gotten from other South American teams. Good, very good Tejada!!
Felipe Baloy is back in the Mexican final. where does Baloy rank as an all time Panamanian player? Is he a top 15? top 10?
Sporting San Miguelito's Chaimir Toloy had a trial last month with the A-league's Newcastle Jets. He is the second Panamanian to try his luck in Australia after Victor Herrera who trialled with the same club last year (both players trials were unsuccessful).
Sorry guys, I was working loads of overtime.. - Luis Tejada is back on a scoring streak with his team Juan aurich (peru) - Brunet Hay & Alejandro Velez are playing for Cortulua (colombia) - Blas Perez still in Mexico, but now in 2nd div, with Esmeralda something, along with jared borghetti - Felipe baloy is still with Santos (mexico) - Gabriel gavilan gomez, still with Belenenses (portugal) - Alberto Quintero, still with Cartagena (spain) i'll be back with more
Respuesta: Re: Panamanians abroad What ever happened to Edwin Aguilar? He went back to Tauro after the crisis at America de Cali but he wasn't without suitors in Colombia after his acceptable season here. I imagined he would be back in Colombia shortly.
He's playing for who we call the Manchester U. of Panama, Sporting SM, bought by a Spaniard, last name Mirambel. in the offseason they bought up a lot of "stars": - edwin aguilar (Ex-america de cali) - alberto zapata (Ex-San Francisco - Victor herrerra piggot (Ex San Francisco) - Camilo Aguirre (Ex-arabe unido) - Pito Rodriguez (Ex-arabe unido) - Rolando Escobar (Ex - Deportivo Lara) but even with these $$ signings, the team has yet to show its potential, most think the DT. is overwhelmed by the roster... he's had last years top goalscorer on the bench all games so far: armando polo
Re: Respuesta: Re: Panamanians abroad Curiously, brunet hay pino, who was at DIM, only played 1 game, and was released, due to too many foreigner spots. But now he's a starter for Cortulua, and so far (if I'm correct), has scored 5 times, both in Liga & Copa Postobon. Alejandro "la bomba" Velez, ex-Arabe Unido, is there also, and has been a starter a couple of times
Brunet Hay Pino - Cortulua - 1ra div. Colombia Alejandro Velez - Cortulua - 1ra div. Colombia Nelson Barahona - Deportivo Independiente Medellin - 1ra. Div. Colombia Amilcar Henriquez - Huila - 1ra div. colombia Roman Torres - Junior de Barranquilla - 1ra div. Colombia Luis Tejada - Juan Aurich - 1ra div. Peru (esta encendido-goles casi cada juego) Jaime Penedo - Municipal - 1ra. div Guatemala Johnny Ruiz - Marquense - 1ra. div Guatemala Alcibiades Rojas - Juventud Retalteca - 1ra div Guatemala Rolando Blackburn - Juventud Retalteca - 1ra div Guatemala Jean Carlos Cedeno - Juventud Retalteca - 1ra div Guatemala Alvaro Salazar - Iztapa FC - 2da div Guatemala Adolfo Machado - Marathon - 1ra. div Honduras Felipe Baloy - Santos - 1ra Div Mexico David Marmolejo - Puebla - 1ra div Mexico (ESTA A PRUEBA) Blas Perez - Leon - 2da div Mexico Luis Henriquez - Lech poznan - 1ra div Polonia Jose Diego Alvarez - SK Slavia Prague - 1ra div Czechlovakia Alberto Quintero - Onteniente (recien cedido) - 2da B - Spain Gabriel Gomez -ERMIS ARADIPPOU - 1ra div Cyprus Luis Mejia - Fenix - 1ra div. Uruguay Renan Addles - The Strongest - 1ra div Bolivia
He didn't make the team. Thing is I haven't seen him on Sporting's bench, so I'm not sure where he's at now.
Felipe Baloy makes his third consecutive FMF final in a row. Is baloy the greatest Panamanian footballer ever yet?
