    Panas in Colombia update:

Amilcar Henriquez (Huila): Great Season. Huila wants to buy his rights so that he stays.

Nelson Barahona (Huila): Ditto. But Huila faces stiff competion to retain him as more traditional clubs like Deportivo Cali, America, Once Caldas and Junior are rumored to be after him.

Brunet Hay (Medellin): Too far down the pecking order. Could not convince Leonel Alvarez of his qualities. Expect him back in Panama soon.

Roman Torres' (Equidad) and Ricardo Buitrago's (Quindio) teams have been eliminated. No specific news about them at the moment.

Regarding Kevin Melgar, supposedly the Man C. staff loved him, but haven't heard anything about possibly going back to join the juvenile squads..

Arabe Unido won the LPF Apertura 2009 Final, 3 - 2, over Tauro, played at the Muquita Sanchez. and not too long after winning, management decided to keep Parra. Papi Rodriguez of course is getting offers from everywhere.

Thanks for the infon on the panas in colombia. Barahona is getting a lot of attention, especially from America, who should have the money from all the players they just sold.

y ojo con "negrito" Quintero, over in cartagena (2nd div spain), he's become a fan favorite, and has shown why. usually comes on as a sub, but is always generating goal scoring chances. Just has to work on his fisico and he'll be okay

Baloy is now part of Santos Laguna. Good Luck Baloy!!!! (dammit, his chances of jumping over to Europe are diminishing)

Roman Torres now with Junior (colombia)

Jean McLean and Edwin Aguilar of Tauro FC are trying out for America de Cali (colombia)

Eduardo Dassent (Tauro FC) is with Marquense (guatemala), I don't know if he's trying out or has been contracted. He's replacing Machado who's back in Panama with Alianza

Edwin Aguilar, on trial with America de Cali, showed why he should be contracted by America, scoring 3 of the 5 goals in the friendly vs. Huila.
