Correct EAb206blues.. the deal is Pachuca already has its slots filled so Quintero will be loaned to Lobos BUAP (2nd div Mex), til December, then full on with Pachuca. Roberto Chen, who many consider Felipe Baloy's successor, is officially a Malaga player, will be introduced on MOnday, and from what I understand most of Malaga's defense is hurt, so hmmmmm... Chen may be starting sooner than later Gabi torres... soap opera continues, but I believe he will ultimately sign with Denver Rapids. Ex Rapids "bombardero" Brown has been all over twitter the past 2 days saying Torres is going, dropping all types of info/hints.....and according to French Press, Auxerre President said they may pull out of the bidding war. IMO, there was a verbal agreement (no bueno), prior to game vs Canada in Denver, aided by ex rapids jorge dely and bombardero brown, and then Torres' agent (or the team that owns his pass) tried to get a slice of the pie by mixing in other teams... to be continued.. Jaime Penedo, still in L.A... i still haven't seen or heard anything 100% official, but i do believe he'll be part of Galaxy...and it'll just take another Cudicini goofy ass error (he's had many this season) for Jaime to start....
Well Penedo joins the LA Galaxy. Wonder how long the deal is? There isn't too much confidence in Cudicini, from what I have read from Galaxy supporters (haven't really seen the Galaxy play too much) so Jaime has a chance to impress, when the opportunity comes. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/la-galaxy-sign-panama-national-163059830--mls.html
the deal is for one and a half years. i like to scout rival MLS teams, lol, and Cudicini has had many goofball moments so far
good stuff has happened after Gold Cup Jaime Penedo - 1.5 years, signed by Galaxy. Already saw playing time in the game vs Milan, in 2nd half Gabriel torres, - Just now became Rapids 1st Designated Player. And it's not a loan, they bought out his contract from san francisco fc, supposedly a nice chunk of $. Multi year contract, exact #'s coming soon Alberto Quintero - Leon (which is part of Pachuca group) acquired him, but since their slots are full, they loaned him out to 2nd division Lobos BUAP Roberto Chen - Felipe Baloy's succesor, the 19 year old, was officially signed and presented by 1st division Malaga of Spain this past Monday, and may see some playing time agains Aston Villa this saturday. Needless to say, most of Panama is scrambling to buy his jersey.
Panama vs Jamaica, This friday Sept. 6, can be seen via CentroAmerica TV, 10 PM (NY time). VAMOS PANAMA!!!!
Just a quick thought...why does Dely INSIST on starting and sticking with Marcos Sanchez??? why why why... 80% of the time he does nothing for the offense, considering he's an ATTACKING midfielder, especially considering he most likely has empty space in front oh him since all eyes are on Quintero on the opposite band...ugh.. wake up dely,... start Jairo Jimenez in mexico, and send Sanches to the bench...
Bueno esta noches vs USA is do or die...win or go home and hope Costa Rica beats Mexico. We didn't take care of business against Jamaica and all those home ties are coming back to bite us in the ass... VAMOS PANAMA!!!
i think this is a first. 5 Pana players in the MLS at the same damn time G. Torres - Colorado Rapids Roman Torres - Seattle Sounders (it's finally official) A. Godoy - San Jose Earthquakes R. Escobar - Dallas FC Blas Perez - Dallas FC
Glad that I'll be able to see Torres in person but it's a shame he never got to play in Europe. He was arguably the best CB in the Colombian league for a while.
ya esta por despegar de Tocumen http://www.sounderatheart.com/2015/...s-of-roman-torres-boarding-a-plane-to-seattle
