This is good news. I've been giving them a lot of crap lately so I should acknowledge when something goes right. Good job Galaxy.

FSC pulls through! Remember back in the days when we had to watch these kind of tourneys on UHF stations? Anyone remember watching the Peace Cup on KDOC? MLS has come a long way.

Yes. That may be the one and only time my TV has ever been tuned to KDCO.

Wow, the Galaxy are playing Oita - where I used to live in Japan. I didn't know they were promoted to the J-League.

    Vary cool.

Interesting. So this means we've added no foreign players this year. Maybe Tony Sanneh will save us in central defense

I posted this in another thread that got buried, thought I'd post it here for a response...

I just got back from the ESPN Zone get together. It was great! The crowd was amazing and enthusiastic. The best part is we won a couple field tix to the pan-pac championship and a poster signed by the entire galaxy team! My kids were so excited to win

Good times, great match. GO USA!!!

EDITED: I just went to the Galaxy site out of curiosity to see the prices of field tix for this event and it said $275 a ticket! That can't be right, right? Did I enter it wrong? How good are these tix exactly? "Field Box 4 Row A." It's the first real soccer game my kid has ever been to so it sounds like great seats!

Field seats were $250 last season. They really are on the field. (Think Jack Nickelson at Laker games) You also get to to keep your chair. (I believe)

Wow, that's great! Looks like it's for the 5:30 match though :( That's the third place game, still, sounds like a blast. So they plan to clear the entire HDC for the following match, right?
