HERE: It's long, detailed, and, given that it's the WSJ, it of course fails to conclude what you and I would conclude about any other person who said, and had said about himself, such things when, upon further investigation (any investigation?), the exact opposite was found. That is, "Bush is a liar, a damned liar, and a fvcking liar, as is his whole lying team." Read it yourself. I think you'll find that this administration started lying about 9/11 before 9/11 had even fully manifested itself. PS: Yankee Blue? America isn't a horrible place. America isnt anything yet; its still becoming, still figuring out what in fact it is on its way to BEING. America IS at a crossroads in that development, that becoming. Too bad for us; we're not a generation that gets to sit around watching "The Apprentice"...there's nation-building to be done. The above feculent unmitigated prefabrications lead it down one path; the way me and mine, and many others, think about America leads it down another. 9/11 was the end not of American innocence, we've never been innocent; it was the end of American adolescence. What kind of mature American nation do you want to build? To be? Everything illuminated in the above article reflects the kind of malfeasant behaviour I don't want; not in any citizen, and w/o question not in any leadership. I get that you may feel differently.
I just read it. It is hard to conclude that the Administration wasn't/isn't lieing its ass off about this. I just can't believe that the WSJ is writing this stuff!! Maybe Mother Jones or something, but the Wall Street Journal!
I'm not a subscriber. Is there some "bigsoccer" magic username and/or what day is it in the hard print edition of the WSJ?
The link's been removed. But the article is from March 22, and the print edition title for it is “Detailed Picture of U.S. Actions On Sept. 11 Remains Elusive,” by Scot J. Paltrow...
