It's magnificent to see Palermo heading into the next match up, 1-0. Brienza is a class player who is overlooked many times. Makinwa needs to get healthy and start contributing more......lets just say Zamparini's offseaon moves have been less than steller.
Re: Palermo - Schalke 04 [R] From the summary I read, Palermo were very unlucky to have won only by a 1-0 scoreline. Credit to Brienza, who played well and scored but it was unfortunate for him that Frank Rost was saving well. If Schalke had a keeper who wasn't good as Rost, Brienza might have got a double or hat-trick.
