I prefer Palace, though I expect they'd go right back down, having grown too fast. I don't think they'll win, but then I didn't think they'd beat Sunderland either.

I completely agree with you. The Hammers Supporters are fun, though. I loved it 2 seasons ago when I would see matches on FSW at Upton Park with tons of insane West Ham Supporters chanting all the while during a 0-0 match and it was raining quite hard....good stuff.

I'm going for CP, because IIRC, it's been quite a while since they've been in the prem. But then, indeed, they could pull a Wolves and relegate immediately, which would be sad to see.

Neither, as it means another derby for us. West Ham always presented problems when they were up, and I suspect CP would as well, though I suppose I'd like to see CP up because they haven't been up in a while, though like Catfish, I agree, WH supporters are cool, even when you're wearing an Arsenal kit on the Tube and they've just been thrashed across town.

Good answer! This was why I was pulling for Sunderland and Ipswich. Derbies usually are difficult, regardless of where the teams may be in the table.

We will have 10 derby matches next year, but there have been seasons when it's been worse. Here is the year-by-year log of London areas clubs in the EPL, shown in order of finish:

1993 - QPR, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Wimbledon, Palace
1994 - Arsenal, Wimbledon, QPR, West Ham, Chelsea, Spurs
1995 - Spurs, QPR, Wimbledon, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Palace
1996 - Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Chelsea, Wimbledon, QPR
1997 - Arsenal, Chelsea, Wimbledon, Spurs, West Ham
1998 - Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs, Wimbledon, Palace
1999 - Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs, Wimbledon, Charlton
2000 - Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs, Wimbledon, Watford
2001 - Arsenal, Chelsea, Charlton, Spurs, West Ham
2002 - Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs, Fulham, Charlton
2003 - Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Charlton, Fulham, West Ham
2004 - Arsenal, Chelsea, Charlton, Fulham, Spurs

Spurs haven't stood higher than 3rd in the last 8 years, further evidence of how far they've fallen (though not far enough).

The Hammers...mostly because my introduction to truly nutty fans came courtesy of the rabid East End fellas at Upton Park
