Damn. But seriously, when news came that he was signed, wasn't he thought to have been iffy? So far it seems like he's damaged goods, although his playing time proves he was worth some kind of investment.

I think Jacob Thomas lost some weight, grew a sweet South American haircut, grew cooresponding facial hair, picked up a cool accent, learned to play LB and starting calling himself Gino Padula. Anyone with me?

We need to put that guy in the oxygen tent that Anthony Gonzalez used to sleep in when he went to OSU, to get Gino healthy as soon as possible, to cut him and sign an actual working left back during the summer window.

he was in the reserve match about 5 min before he pulled the hammy! Moffat will beat him back to the lineup again!

Cut him, find a replacement and lets get on with the season. We can't be waiting around on a 145k injury prone aging left back. Thought he looked great in the games he played in but come on! We don't have the time to wait around and hope.

I like having Junge get the experience, he has promise and doesnt cost us much (have to love his throw ins) but with Rogers making deep runs were going to need a strong left back who can take care of that side.

Yes, I think we were all skeptical when he was signed at his lack of playing time over the past few years. I guess it at least allowed him to hang with his countrymen and get a new payday for a while. It'd be nice to get him healthy as he could be a real asset, I think, but yeah, at what point do you say he's the next Jacob Thomas, and no matter what he could do when healthy, he just isn't going to be healthy and realiable to be taking up a roster spot and cap space.

he needs to sleep with a IV glucosomine drip at night and have an on call yoga instructer so his body will not break every time he runs onto the field.

    I will say this again:

Tim Ward. He made few mistakes. Knows Rogers well , has played with him for years with various youth National teams and can probably be bought cheap since he is sitting at Colorado. Its 10000% better than what we have going right now.

Timmy isn't the answer and he's not coming back. Sorry that your other man-crush got seperated from Robbie, but it's over. There is a reason Tim never gets minutes. There is a reason why he has received scathing criticism from the fans after a few of his performances. He's not panning out and not blooming into the player so many people thought he would when he shined at a younger age...
