Oh, he definitely choked. He was completely unmarked and he shouldn't have needed Hesmer's back to bury his header.

I have to disagree. As a defender, if your goalkeeper is not calling you off of the ball, what is the number one rule on set pieces (outside of the obvious man-marking)? DON'T LET THE BALL BOUNCE IN THE BOX Padula did everything right on that play, tactically. Just took a bad bounce off his head. I'm not blaming him at all for that game because we had a plethora of chances to put the game out of reach. Plus, I'll second Mike's comment... Why bring this up now?
