This isn't the official game thread. However, it is the official get your kiester to DSGP for the final home match of the season. IMHO the players should be honored for their inspired play since June or so. And of course it will be Tim Howard's last home match.* So get the word out and get to Dick's on Sunday at 5:30!
I didn't realize the game was on Sunday vs Saturday, so have a flight scheduled. Really stinks, looking at other flight options so I can be there. Been a long time since the Rapids inspired enough to consider making a change for a game!
I think the place should be totally empty-as in we’ll see what you do this offseason and then maybe, just maybe we’ll come see you again.
Earlier in the season I would agree. They have shown me enough to be there (assuming I can change the flight). Frankly, this is one of the most entertaining teams I can recall....
Frankly, they've already done a lot to be prepared for a successful 2020 on the pitch. The talent level, especially on the attack is pretty good. No need to wait for the off-season signings - most the players who will be important parts of the team next season are on the roster now.
Believe it or not, even I'm going to be at DSG this weekend thanks to a propitiously timed work trip!
We tried a 108 section at the tailgate before, maybe we should try a bigsoccer Meetup. I will be there, but not sure how to identify myself other than to say look for the awesome guy with the rapids hat.
I'll of course be there , along with three family members. And most likely we'll be there early to pick up a Howard bobble head (STMs get them) and hopefully an captain's arm band (1st 5,000 in stadium) Of course I am also assuming there will be discounts galore in the stadium store. I think there's a good chance the Rapids play with poise, confidence and passion. Hope the supporters are passionate as well!
Hold onto your hats, looks like it's gonna be windy at the match. Red flag warning in effect with some strong gusts.
I'd be good with a BigSoccer meetup but unfortunately but weather in the midwest has me stuck at O'Hare this morning. Don't get into Colorado until after the match. Maybe next year
I talked to C38, for C38 STH's you can get yours at the tailgate, however they won't let you bring them into the stadium. Argus logic at work.
I'll be there and taking an NFL friend who I had to drag to his first MLS game against Seattle. Today when I told him I was solo, he cleared his afternoon to come with
So American Airlines became American't today ... ironically, I was watching the timeline updates of the first half of the game in Rapids gear at DFW. That would've been a good game to see live!
