And I would probably join that bandwagon except for the fact that I can't think of a better alternative right now.

No Perea was retarded and his F ups cost us points. Armero is a much moré limited player without playing time. Perea was just unacceptable especially for a player who started a team like Atletico Madrid.

Cristian Zapata and his back passes to me is the new Perea. Tho Zapata brain farts to me will hopefully stop once he gets more playing time at Milan.

Good news. He is much more meaningful to us then most of the players since it's the only position where we barely have good players who can sub him. Andrade is good, Fabra is good, Zuñiga and Arias can switch to the left if we need and I even think that Balanta can play there as well. But we do not have a natural LB that can play like Miñia in his prime like the last qualifiers or in the WC. So when he lost form, it was very difficult for us, still is, and I really hope that he'll gain his minutes and form back. When he'll do, he's the first one that I call to the NT.

He assisted the second goal too. Some people say it was accidental because it looked like a bad shot on goal, but nonetheless, he was positively involved in the build up.

all armero has to do is use learn to use his right foot.....even if it was 25% of the time and he would be so dangerous and less predictable

true. no denying that but he would be world class and in the same category of LB's as Ashley Cole during his hey-day; Alaba of Bayern Munich, Joan Capdevilla (2008-2010) if he could use that darn right foot more often

Armero's career went to crap as soon as he went to Napoli and the manager refused to play Armero and Zuniga at the same time placing one over the other, after that he never got playtime again and his form and confidence dropped obviously

After appearing in two games, he got hurt again and is out for the foreseeable future. A timetable hasn't been placed on him. I don't recall him being injury prone earlier in his career, but he simply hasn't been reliable. I do think a lack of games affected him.

not playing has ruined him sadly, he was an unbelievable left back though in the past. Seems that time has gone now

Sucks for Armero. He actually did not do that badly in the Copa America.

Looks like Fabra is going to have to step up and start for Colombia come October.

I really hope Fabra is ready to play.
Playing in a friendly is one thing. Playing in a World Cup Qualifier is another.

Quien lo voy? Jugo bien porque aunque para mi esta bien Fabro, es bueno tener alguien que lo puede substituir por si acaso hay un partido que requiere que ataquen mas o si se lesiona Fabro
