2018 season, first Sunday game. Colorado vs Orlando City SC at the Dick at 2PM. I assume TV is Altitude, please confirm. Discuss here the game, and/or what you think of Sundays in general. My prediction is Rapids win 2-1.

I have a good feeling about this game. Rapids 2-0, with Badji and Blomberg scoring (the latter since I complained about him this week). I like Sunday afternoon games this time of year. Weather should be perfect.
So what could possibly go wrong. (In person attending fans please note that if we have a one goal lead at or around the 85th minute out of respect and superstition you should turn your backs toward the pitch until the final whistle? It probably won't stop another 'point dump' but at least you won't have to watch it.)
2-1 win, goals by Mason and Badji. Orlando is allowing about 2 and scoring 2 a game while Colorado is allowing and scoring about half that. So its the more open play of the visitor versus the tighter play of the burgundy boys. I think the home edge give us the difference in this one, though a draw would not be shocking. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2018/04/rapids-face-mickey-mouse-team-on-sunday.html

Traveling so I won't be able to make the match. Feeling good about a win or tie though. How about a 1-0 Rapids win, goal by Badji?
Looks like Timmy has some penance to do..... I can see the conversation now: Timmy: I'm sorry. Hudson: Not good enough, young man. Timmy: I won't do it again. Hudson: You certainly won't. I won't send you to your room since your toys are all there, but you must go sit with the huddled masses and do an interview. Timmy: But, Coach, I can't do that! They might talk to me. Hudson: You will. Otherwise, no strip clubs for you Mister.
2-1 Rapids. Rapids have the edge in dominance this game as they come off a disappointing result in Utah. Goals by Badji and Boli.

I realized on Friday that I had a youth soccer conflict. So watching on delay. Great day to go for those on fence. It would be a really fun game to go to.
Missed last week, so not sure how similar this lineup is compared to last week: -Excited to see Mason and Gashi get the start -Interested to see how Boateng performs on the wing -Wynne over Axel continues to totally baffle me -No Aigner in the 18 again. Now very clearly in the Hudson doghouse -Wonder if Blomberg is hurt? Not in the 18.
Badjiiiii! The more I see Badji do that, the more I want to see him and Boli together. Absolutely not a knock on Mason, but we’re beginning to pretty clearly and effectively establish the offensive strategy of dropping long/mid range balls out of the back and midfield over the top of the back line. Dealing with pressure from Badji AND Boli could be a nightmare to defend against.
I like Enzo. Have liked him all season. He doesn’t do anything magical but he is a constant presence. He is always around the ball.
