Weeknight game. Revs are 0-7-1 in their last 8. Chivas comes in 0-2-1 in their last 3.

This game could/should be ugly. Not in terms of play of the field (even though, who knows with that) but the level of the two teams, on a week-night game, etc.

I am looking forward to giving SJ a standing ovation though.

Shit opponent, shit team, shit game, shit midweek night, shit time to be enthusiastic about this team, but I'm still going and I hope SJ gets the ovation he deserves from more than 5K or so I expect will show up. Lets just pray the F.O does something special for him tonight, I'm still pissed they ********ed SR's going away, not to mention TT.

Timbers had over 14k show up for a reserve game this past weekend. We probably won't have 14k combined this Wed and next.

    Tell me again how BKIASB?

I wonder if the attendance will be below the 2006 game against them where we had a state of emergency due to flooding?

Anything planned for Shalrie? I want to give him a hug and say I'm sorry for being traded to a team that isn't much better than the Revs.

(QUESTION: Is there a worse MLS destination than Foxborough? Is any trade away from Gillette a step up?)

So the Revs will try to pad their attendance numbers with 4000 freebies. Not surprised. Now how many of those tickets will actually be used? And how many life-long fans will be created that night, given how pathetic of a match we expect?

I hope Shalrie scores. Usually the home support goes dead quiet when scored upon, but if Joseph does put one in, will people cheer anyway? If I was there, I'd think I would.

Look for Ryan Guy to play in this one. (After my prediction for last game went south, I figured I would stay on safer ground here. Look for him to play all 90, too.)

I envision "dying by the schoolchild" as involving choking on gobstoppers, for some reason.

Forgot there's a Pats preseason game as well, which also won't help attendance.

Game two of a 4 Games in 12 Days stretch. Will some regulars get some rest? Do they need any rest? Do they deserve any rest?

Bigger question: It's Game One of 3 Home Games in 8 Days, so will there be a point where some fans need to sit out a game to recover during this tough stretch?

I'll be missing Game 3 of that stretch. There's no functional limit to how much losing I can handle, though, I just have more pressing mtters to attend to
