The Galaxy look to rebound after a disastrous road game in Colorado with a home game against Western Conf. basement-dwellers Sporting Kansas City. They are finally back with a "normal" Saturday night game. Although note that the game is 1 hour earlier than normal - 6:30 p.m. PDT - as it is the "Walmart Saturday Showdown" game. Which is set earlier to get that east coast audience (I'm sure our Eastern regulars will appreciate that). It's my birthday as well, so I know what I want from the Galaxy for my birthday--- belief that they are actually a good team this year with a resounding win over a poor team. And I'll be tail-gating for a change with a couple friends in the parking lot before the game to celebrate - so if those who are attending that get there early want to swing by and have a celebratory beer (or ice tea for those who don't indulge) message me. Let's Go Galaxy!!
LA Galaxy Chris Rindov - Leg (Out) Emiro Garces - Foot (Out) Joseph Paintsil - Thigh (Out) Gabriel Pec - Suspended (Out) Reus must be ok. would be nice to know more about Garces.
Would be nice to know more about all of those injuries. Some teams call Paintsil's apparent reason for being out a "thigh" injury, while others are more specific and call it a "quad." Are the Galaxy being cute here and calling it "thigh," to avoid communicating whether it is the back of the thigh (hamstring), inside of thigh (adductor or groin), top of thigh (quad), or outside of thigh (IT band)? Rindov's and Garces' injuries are even more vague (there are a lot of muscles/tendons/cartilage/bone in the entire leg or foot).
Yes, they have Dejan but KC is the worst team in the West with possibly the weakest roster in all the MLS. Even without our wingers it should be a win at home, even if I think we'll struggle.
Looking forward to the “big” three which have really been a pleasant surprise. Of course I mean Cerillo, Wynder, and Sanabria. I wouldn’t have thought our midfield could work without a 10, but those guys move so well that it works having a 6 and two 8’s. And I fixed your confusing post, ‘trick. I see these posts mentioning last week, but I seem to have zero recollection of all that. I just know we have a win, a starting and a backup #9, and one decent CB. This season is looking up. Let’s go Galaxy!
Hey remember how not long ago it took until May 31st to win the first match of the season? 16 winless games.. those were the days
Let’s get a word n tonight. At home, against KC, we should gain some confidence and score a few. Time to see what this team is going to be.

I was trying to figure out a line up that had our young trio and Reus on the field. Guess it may not exist. Good to see Miller get a start. hope we can play good D without Glesnes.
We have such nice possession and passing out of the back, I hate to see that Micovic has now been trained to lump it to the other team with only a hint of pressure.
To be fair, we finally have a target forward, and Klauss is winning those balls. Granted its the 2nd ball that matters often on those
