A cavalcade of errors lead to the COL goal. Yamane with the easy dispossession in the midfield, Glesnes with the unsuccessful challenge that leaves Yoshida 1v1, he did an okay job of forcing his man to his outside but not in impacting his shot, and Yapi scored. Something that may not be talked about though is how utterly incapable Micovic looks sometimes when getting to shots like that one. Not too far in the corner, not hit super hard, just low. And he always seems to let those in, it shows in his stats. He doesn't seem to make too many of the saves that McCarthy regularly would make to keep us in games. I've been of this belief for several years now, but I don't think he's worth the international spot and we should look to move him this summer, even at a loss.

Overall we just look slow and too deliberate, Reus being in the game makes us play slow. I want to see more intensity and purpose in the 2nd half, COL didn't show me anything to be playing so conservatively.

 

They capitalized on a streak of mistakes, we can't take advantage of one.
