P/I/P Season 30 Game 32 - LA Galaxy at FC Dallas, 10/4/25, 1:30 p.m. PDT - Apple TV

2003? I don’t know that year Freddy Adu joined the league and the won MLS Cup. Last year’s Galaxy had an echo of that DC team. An unexpected return to past glory after years of failure. Next year will certainly be interesting.

 

This edition of lag has managed to drain any passion and convert it to apathy. My hat is off to those of you who still care. You are better men and women than I.

 

I wonder how many STH’s they gained and then lost this year? Several around me did not renew. Just a brutal season.

This excrement is not even worthy of an emotion anymore. SACKVANNEYNOW!!! It's not good to reward miserable failure for 1 great season, I imagine how Slot at Liverpool and Flick at Farca are facing pressure after losing only 2 or 3 matches? Yet here we're (not including me) ok with Vanney because it's Koontz or the League's fault! Absolute rubbish!

 

I tell you what it is, it's foken bull excrement! It's pathetic and wreaks of small club aura (as the kids say today). Really at least Dog Crap United is doing horrible too? Why would we give a flying rats arse what those capitol kuntz are doing? The problem is here with us and why we are such shyte! Why management and Vanney seem to think, oh well it wasn't our year so back to drawing board. No pressure, no fire, no accountability. We are like Boca Jr's a club on crisis and only supporters are pissed off while everyone in the club seems to be more concerned with going on holiday!

 

I watched the UCLA Penn State game fully expecting a blowout like the previous 4 weeks and figured I would join the Galaxy game for the start. Low and behold, UCLA took the lead for the first time this season on the first drive and the game turned very exciting. I was hooked and watched till the end. By then the Galaxy game was over and when I turned on Apple TV to watch it, it showed the final score. I watched the "highlights", but they didn't show any of the controversial plays that were mentioned in this thread .

 

I only caught the first half of the Galaxy game and recorded the UCLA game, which I watched through after the Dodgers game. Also expected a blowout loss to Penn St and was pleasantly surprised! U-C-LLLLL-A!!!

 

We all have our limit. I respect yours. I'm still there, but it's with a lot of cynicism. Every time another team lets in an easy goal, I think, that's just like the Galaxy defense.

 

I don't understand Apple TV - I was on vacation, and watched the Campeones Cup after the fact. Of course, the result was spoiled just trying to get into the app. Ridiculous.

 

The lack of thought they put into preventing spoilers in the app is sooo annoying.

I mean of course we will likely lose, but I like to hold onto a little scrap of hope while watching.

 

I literally place my hand over the phone/ipad and drag it down to avoid the highlight videos. So dumb.
