The second game in the "California Gauntlet Triple" where we play all 3 California rivals in a row. The good news - we seem to be completely healthy for this game (minus Puig, of course) and Reus seems to be finally rounding into form. The bad news - that might not be enough to get our first win this weekend. But some revenge on SD for starting our winless streak sure would be nice. It's got national coverage on Fox and it'll be our first game down in San Diego, so let's hope the boys are up for the game. And it won't keep our eastern time zone fans up late on a Saturday night! Let's Go Galaxy!!

Two lineup changes from El Traffico. Micovic starts in goal and Paintsil starts in place of Ramirez, which moves Reus into that false 9 role again https://www.lagalaxy.com/news/starting-xi-presented-by-modelo-la-galaxy-at-san-diego-fc-may-24-2025
Micovic starting and Paintsil up top with Fagundez and Pec on the wings. Seems like we’re going for the counter attack strategy. Surprised they choose this game for Micovic to start, but he has faced them before Our XI G’s in San Diego ✨📰: https://t.co/TXxN5AxnaQ | @ModeloUSA pic.twitter.com/iDlb8SDVcP— LA Galaxy (@LAGalaxy) May 24, 2025
Eh tough to get a good measure in the early game when nerves are usually high and everyone's twitchiness is all over the place. but I do see an inability to hold onto possession.
So far, our passes have been smart in possession now. I see a lot of cross field passes away from clusters of San diego players. happy to see that
Nice Idea, Joe playing the role of a poacher, hovering off the backline ready for a run. offsides this time but keep testing them Joe
