Roldan clambering into Riqui earlier, going thru Riqui's left knee late to block the ball on Riqui's right foot, likely put the rip into the ACL then it worked it's way towards disaster with Seattle taking multiple cheap shots at Riqui as has been shown in this thread. At least Roldan got a yellow for that late hit. They've made huge strides in ACL surgery/repair. Just for starters, I think the material they use to substitute for an ACL is better than the real stuff. The rehab that I see for the most part is excellent. Riqui should do what JoMo did - work on his weak leg during the re-hab so he comes out of the disaster a better player.
That's a good point. The last time Fagundez played anything close to a full game was nearly three months ago when he played 82 minutes against LAFC on September 14. He played 14 and 17 minutes in the Colorado playoff series and that is the most he played since September. The last time he played a full 90 was on July 20 against Portland. If Reus can't play, that's probably where Brugman becomes important since he could come on for Fagundez and move Delgado up. Cuevas also may be important since Fagundez is our main wing backup too. Other than 1 minute against Minnesota, his last MLS action was 7 minutes against Vancouver on Sept. 22 and 23 minutes against Portland on Sept. 19
We've really shored up the bench this season. The subs warm up during the game right in front of our seats. The last half of this season, I see them and think : "I'm okay with any of these guys playing important minutes." When was the last time we could say that?
LA Galaxy HC Gregg Vanney 📌Diego Fagubdez or Marcus Reus? 📌Marcus Reus INJURY UPDATE🎥 @AreaSportsNet #LAGalaxy #MLSCup pic.twitter.com/ihabfiTJRR— Area Sports Network (@AreaSportsNet) December 3, 2024 Marco Reus day to day it sounds like. Big shock, I know.
Thank goodness for some depth. I think Reus if fully fit would be the no-brainer player to step in and be the playmaker for the team - but as we saw when Riqui was out injured earlier this season, we've got another baller in Fagundez ready to step up.

Not a lot of experience with Galaxy games.
I'm told the New York Red Bulls front office bought 700 tickets for the official supporter groups for MLS Cup.RBNY are also offering any of those 700 a $300 travel reimbursement to help with flight/lodging. The club is sending entire front office tooAwesome gesture 👏🏼👏🏼— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) December 3, 2024 Apparently Red Bull has 3-4 sections of the upper deck. They offered to relocate me (at additional cost) because my seats are a section over. So, don't worry, I'll drown them out on Saturday.
