    So, we did win MLS Cup this past weekend, right? It wasn't an outlandish script I wrote in some fever dream? Only a total hack like me would write up a story where a ragtag team of misfits makes it all the way to the final, only to have the star player get injured and be unable to play... but the team bands together and collectively fights for one another and wins in the end....

    I can guarantee that if the current Galaxy team had embarrassed itself and the fans, and the marketing team had replied by sending a "shrug" to all the fans, Kuntz would have fired every last one of them the next day.

    Been a while since I read through all the forum taglines.. says a bit about the fanbases representation here when a chunk of the other team forums are outdated and dont even rep their current crest..
    surprised Austin tagline isnt something like “the same old Crew”

    It sometimes feels a little more empty, seeing how few fanbases are regulars here. Some club subs only have 1 single pbp thread for each year!

    We're spoiled to have at least a handful of regulars here in the Gs

    Definitely the OG teams have much higher counts, as they started when Bigsoccer was the only game in town. I'm sure most of the fans of the newer teams are hanging on Reddit and Discord. We are now the dinosaurs of American soccer message boards!!!!

    Definitely been thinking about this. MLS Cup 2012 I was sitting with Berks and Rokstedy. Berks is still here but I wonder what ever became of young Rokstedy and Burden and the other young bucks....
