I didn't see Kuntz at the Western conference celebration either. Maybe I missed it, maybe he's leaving it for the players and coaching staff, or maybe something's up (hope not) since Anschutz didn't name him either.
I saw him at the Western conference celebration with Jovelljic. And although I didn’t see him at the stadium in person after game today, I did see him in TV post game briefly (he’s at the very end like 3:45 mark). There’s also a nice little interview with Raul Vargas in the locker room.
They were there. Ran into both on the concourse after the game. Gave Cien a fist bump and a bow to recognize the original Riqui Puig of this league. What an awesome day.

Cope and Seethe from an LAFC supporter Man fck Will Kuntz. Never liked his ass anyway 😂LAFC FO Better wake the fck up and quit thinking it’ll be business as usual next year.— Marco (@Mrcos_Ramirez) December 7, 2024
I didn't realize at the time that Tolken was megged twice in this play! “We respect them but we want to kick the shit out of them”Pec & Cerillo took that personally #LAGalaxy #RBNY #MLSCup pic.twitter.com/KznVOceupL— MLS Gone Wild ⭐️ (@MLSGoneWild) December 8, 2024
Weird game with all scoring done by minute 28. Started out like a blowout but they half lead to one and the game remains in this same uncertain, tense state until the final whistle. Hard on the arteries!

Rigui is petty, and I love it: 'Those LAFC people' — Puig aims dig at rivals amid MLS Cup celebrations https://sports.yahoo.com/those-lafc-people-puig-aims-013400519.html
Hard for me to find the right words this morning. After so many rough years at the stadium, it's been one hell of a season. Undefeated at home is really special. All credit to Vanney and Puig ( I have may criticized them a few times over the years) and the entire organization. Already looking forward to next year. I hope we can keep this group together as much as possible. This has been a fun team to watch and cheer for and be invested in.
I was watching Stu Holden and John Strong broadcast. Stu said that second meg was “just disrespectful”
Totally agree but I plan on continuing to critique Vanney and Puig—that’s maybe the most exciting part about this team. They still have so much upside! Riqui has been amazing to watch—he is elite in his combination of control and explosiveness off the dribble and his long switched passes but we saw glimpses of two way play in the playoffs, and he has room to grow in his final third passing. I’d love to see him continue to really grow as a player playing for the Galaxy. I think I’m excited to see more from Garces, Aude, Cerillo, Neal. Joveljic, Paintsill, and Pec are all young going into the prime of their career years. Curious about Micovic who is very young by goalkeeper standards, or Cuevas who was a surprise. And of course whoever Kuntz brings in I’m sure will directly address our needs. We do have good depth but will it be enough for next year’s demands across competitions? They’ll be lots of room for Vanney there to make some tough tactical choices. I’d really like to see him find room to give spot starts to support players and in a way that they can thrive and develop. Depending on how you look at it, this could be a long offseason (impatiently waiting) or a short one (lots more fun to discuss improving moves for the champs than filling glaring holes).
One more thing I’m curious to see for next season. Can Reus take the offseason to get really fit and turn in a solid season giving us 60+ minutes a game and really contributing to cover for Puig and help us win again next year? Sure it’s a big ask for a 36 yo but I think it’d be all the difference for him. Will Galaxy be a forgettable pit stop or vacation on his way to retirement or maybe he can put in a year like other LA Galaxy greats past their prime who really did put in a season to remember?
I'm hoping for more of an Ashley Cole shift from Marco. Clearly his best yeads are behind him yet respects the effort needed. So far I've liked what I've seen. I never expected him to be a Keane type of contributor. I've seen him put in the defensive work as well as his contributions going forward.
