A big home game. Another trap game. We should crush them. But in a rivalry game weird things happen. Hopefully we can defend better on set pieces.... Let's Go Galaxy!!

That doesn't even change anything about it other than the ref telling everyone "We have investigated and found nothing wrong with our own decision"
We are going to this game! I don't attend too many these days. My husband asks - should we buy parking in advance? In the past, we just drove up early in plenty of time to get parked and walk in. Any recent advice?
Last team in the entire league vs the first team in the league. It would have to be one hell of a bear trap. This maybe a good time to rotate players. Try the new guy if available. Rest Yoshida, rest Puig, pull Paintsil and others if the game is going well. Try the kids out. Again, if all is in hand. We have road games after this at Austin and Seattle. A little rest for our key players would be nice going into that. At least make it interesting for the poor struggling San Jose team. I feel bad for them. I want to give them some water back.
I come in peace: Honestly, you could start all your second-string players and still manage to beat us, we're just that bad. On the bright side, if you crush us decisively that might do the trick and get Luchi fired so....Good Luck!
You could definitely come early and find street parking, or pay for a lot, especially for a Sunday night game.
Serious question. Is the problem with your coach or San Jose's overall management/ownership/infrastructure? I understand that Luchi doesn't have s strong coaching resume being more of a player development guru. But as we have seen with the Galaxy, new management with open purse strings and the proper infrastructure to enable wise roster spending can make a world of difference. IMO, (and as we have seen with the Galaxy) firing the coach without getting the FO right is like feeding cake to the peasants.
That's a very good question and one we've been debating amongst ourselves for some time. Is it our owner Fisher that's the problem, is his perceived reluctance to spend copious dollars on quality players that's hurting us? Is Jared Shawlee's bean counting and penny pinching hurting us? Is it Chris Leitch's inability to find quality players that is crumbling our foundation and even if he can find them can he convince Shawlee to pay for them? Luchi's style of coaching, if you can call it that, didn't do jack shit in Dallas and that has carried over into San Jose. Some of us think that Luchi is on a very short leash and his time is running out but if nothing changes from the top down then it'll be the same as it ever was.
Yep, no matter how good a coach you get, he isn't going to amount to much if all he gets isone or two serious DPs, some good players in key positions and then he has to mix and match from the bargain bin. Case and point, Matias Almeyda. Everywhere that dude goes he turns teama round and wins. Guadalara fans still talk about him and would take him back in a hearbeat. He won two back-to-back Copa MX and Super Copa (had never been done in Liga MX) and the Concacaf Champions League inside a handful of years. Then he comes to the Quakes and he has initial success turning the team around up to a point but he can only go so far with what he is allowed to get. Matias then goes from SJ to AEK Athens only to turn them into champions his initial season with a double win of Super League Greece and also Greek Cup. Something they had not done since the 70's. The following year took them to Europa League. All this to say I agree with you. The diff is money. You need new ownership with money to spend. Another coach is not going to help. Don't take the whoopin coming up personally tho, ok?
In the words of my favorite Bond, "We Aim To Please"! We will have your coach fired by the end of the first half. This game should be nothing short of an evisceration. I am predicting at minimum a hat trick by either DeJan or Paintsil.
Money + talent evaluation + a coach that can wield a team like Excalibur. But two out of three ain't bad as Galaxy is proving.
I assume they are will give some info about the reason for the call/no call. Like they do in other pro sports.
Now I'm worried we'll see a bunker-fest, and little plan for breaking it. Well, I have faith we'll find way to beat San Jose.
Oh yeah they will surely try it. But I see them getting shredded up like steak for our Tiki Taco dinner that we will be serving up for them on a plate. I am calling it now. This is going to be the show off your awesomeness game for this team. The only thing that could screw this beatdown up is Vanney deciding to pull guys before hat tricks are achieved or worse,... making our guys bunker after going up 2 goals when we could have instead annihilated San Jose with the same ruthless efficiency that Drago showed Apollo when Rocky stupidly decided to delay throwing in the towel.
