Hmm. Diego Fagundez had 6 goals and 12 assists for Austin in 2022. Perhaps letting him go to the Galaxy for relative peanuts was not a good move by the Austin FO.

What's really something about this picture is there are so many old timers there! El Gato, Cap'n Dan, even Vanney. It's nice that there's a real sense of history. I can almost smell the king taco and feel the frustration of the rose bowl parking lot. With the retro kit they should wheel in Cobi just for these shots.

 

Doesn't seem like a very even allocation of penalties for the game. Biro seems to get off easy.

Biro definitely deserved more for a retaliatory late game non-soccer play. How about a fine for Ted Uncle for managing the game so poorly?

 

Yea while I think Delgado's is fair, I remember thinking he got away with one live, Biro's not being more than 1 is a travesty.

The Disciplinary Committee basically just decided that the ref made a mistake and Delgado deserved a red card. They also decided that Biro's challenge was effectively the equivalent of Delgado's. The fine was for his behavior after the tackle.

 

that's my reading, too, and Biros tackle looked significantly worse to me.
