Hernadez was also the center in the Inter Miami - RSL game and Demihiran was his first AR for that game, so they obviously are viewed as working well together and they now both have several games of MLS experience. Clark was the first AR in the Timbers-Rapids game. Last year, Hernandez refereed USL League 1, USL Championship, US Open Cup games (involving MLS teams Seattle and LAFC against lower-division squads), and MLSNP games.

The Vela situation was clear from the start. He wants DP money and LAFC wouldn’t give it to him. the Galaxy rumors were BS from Vela’s camp to try and create a market. LAFC has a clear business plan to transfer players before they risk a “reward” contract that might put them in trouble. So far it hasn’t burned them. I mean the list is long: Zimmerman, Kaye, Blessing, Arango, Rossi, Atuesta, etc. They had a face off with Buonga. He deserves much more money. LAFC would rather sell him this summer then reward him. so far it’s worked for them.
I think there are risks. Losing Zimmerman hurt them for a while. The Bouanga situation might hurt. Rossi was mls cup mvp last year defeating lafc. Arango is a far better center forward then lafc currently has. but by and large they’ve not been hurt too bad. Vela might piss off their fans more then hurt their team.
