Second half of the season begins this week! And we have a lot of home games in June and July that we need to make count if we want to continue to battle for a top spot in the west. Hopefully the team is rested and healthy (looking at Paintsil and Brugman) and ready to string together some W's.

    Let's Go Galaxy!

KFC is 1-5-2 away and bottom feeding. This is a redo of the Chicago Fire match! only at home.

I want early 4th of July fireworks. 5 goals minimum. Paint with a hat trick. Ruthless!

    LET'S GO!!!

EDIT: Never mind. It's fake. For the confused, someone put the "THANK YOU" that they add to the transfer exit announcements over Vanney's Birthday post.

So my guess for Saturday night is:

    ---Pec---------Dejan--------Paintsil
    ---------Puig----------Delgado
    ----------------Cerrillo
    Aude--Caceres--Yoshida--Yamane
    --------------McCarthy

Hopefully Brugman is available on the bench, who along with Fagundez and Perez would be my main 3 subs.

Brugman sounds more like another month to be honest.

Greg presser what seem by a bus stop somewhere in Carson. Greg is so chill and the body language, man. I can see where the team gets their motivation. Greg, tell the team the game is MUST WIN baby. It's ok...

Puig must have strained his groin in practice. Paintsil not on the report, so I expect if Puig can't go, then Fagundez will slot in to his position and Paintsil and Pec will start. Won't be the same though.

I assume that with Brugman out, Delgado becomes the default backup at defensive mid, unless Greg decides to use a CB (e.g. Garces) as the backup. I wonder if Lepley is the replacement for Puig. I would almost rather see him there than Fagundez based upon the positive reports on his VCFC play.

Well darn. Losing Puig would be a big blow. With 3 games this week and this the only non-playoff team of the bunch, really important that we grab all 3 points tomorrow night.

We also signed Ruben Ramos Jr. to a 4-day contract so he will be available this game. Wonder if that had something to do with Puig's injury....

Ruben Ramos signed to a short-term deal, which suggests Fagundez will be inside and they need another backup wing. Vivi would have been the guy, but we would need an int'l spot for him

Lepley is by far the closest facsimile we have to Puig in terms of style of play. He's small with a low center of gravity, is a very shifty dribbler and great passer, and, for better or worse, he comes back deep to collect the ball from the center backs. He's not as offensive-minded as Puig and given that this would be the first MLS game of his career, he would probably be more conservative, acting as a ball circulator. Nevertheless, I expect he will play because he will be the only center midfield sub on the bench if Puig can't play.

Well, I think we can do without Riq for KFC but my ruthless plan is now toast. We did ok against Seattle at Seattle and that was with Berry. Of course we did have Brugman and now we don't so that will be something new. I am more worried about the NY City and friggin Salt Lake matches sans Riqui. We have no idea how long he will be out or Brugman for that matter. Not good.

I like. Edit: and then I see Puig questionable. No problem, I think we could add Perez

    -----perez----dejan-----pec
    ----------paintsil--delgado
    ----------------cerillo
    etc.

We played without Puig vs Seattle.

I think Galaxy sparked something in Chicago. They just destroyed Toronto at Toronto.

    Sorry Toronto.

Today we see what the worth of Fagundez is at creative work in the mid.
