Can the LA Galaxy make it two wins in a row? It may be tough as the Gs have a 6 game winless streak against FC Dallas where they they have lost 5 of the 6 games.

for the math nerds out there, the consensus seemed to be that 10 points during this 5 game stretch would be satisfactory, so if the Galaxy win this game thats 6 points in 2 games, what would be the scenario for the last 3 for them to reach 10 points, of course if they win all 5 and my math is correct thats 15 points.*

    *(yay!! I'm doing math!!)

I must have missed that poll. We got the win this past weekend in a nasty struggle. So 5 matches with 4 home games and one away against the second worst team in the East I really would like to see some sort of shift toward consistency in competitive play.

Not this barely getting by at home against teams struggling or doing very badly. I don't want to hear about good enough or all right or satisfactory half way through the season against bottom feeders playing at home. I want Galaxy to stop playing down to teams and making a game of it.

    Give me gangster. It's time.

There is a need for rotation with 3 matches in 7 days and the next game cross country in 3 days.

BUT there is two weeks off after that to recover so can probably push players to the limit this weekend.

will be interesting. My last galaxy home game until the rose bowl.

When you consider that Dallas is winless on the road 0-4-2 and that Chicago is horrible at home 2-5-1 I would start Dejan today, sub him out if he gets tuckered out and then start our friend Berry on the weekend and bring in Dejan should we need to. Keeping in mind the two weeks off you are pointing out.

We should and need to win tonight. Get the 3 points at home and you can decide who goes to Chicago after. On the other hand, failure to win tonight and Saturday becomes a must win. Take care of business at home.

On paper, Dallas looks weak. But, gotta play it. Riqui going full platinum means he’s gonna ball out. Let’s Go!

Agreed. Gotta play the best players available tonight then rest who you need to rest on Saturday. But if some players are fatigued and not 100% for tonight then best not to start them.

Cerrillo is a little faster than Delgado and knows his former team well. Neal is faster than Caceres. Both good moves (and fresh legs) against a fast team in Dallas. Can’t really complain about the starting XI.

I see littlevreason to rest Joveljik in any of these games. he does about 1/4 of the running that the other field players do. His position requires a lot of skill but it isn’t that taxing. Especially the way he plays it.

Dallas has scored 11 fewer goals than us and yielded 2 fewer. I see a low scoring, 2-1 game. With us having the 2.

I don't know how the Dallas defender missed intercepting that through ball.
