I mean I’m honestly shocked just how horrible the wheels fell off this season. I didn’t think we were good but I really didn’t think we were totally awful. we are totally awful. I just can’t expend the mental energy anymore.
Normally I'd say both Portland and Vancouver will pass us with wins but, as luck would have it, they play each other.
I don’t think Brugman will make this any better. I’m sure he’ll be fine but this is a dumpster fire of a team. Praying for the end of this season already so I don’t have to feel obligated to care anymore

Saw replays and to be fair both of their goals were perfectly taken. Bond not really to blame. So there’s that I guess.
My real hope is that after the World Cup later this year and knowing that the next WC is being played here abouts, The interest for a team like Galaxy will make it possible for AEG and Phil to sell the thing lock, stock and barrel. Some group or billionaire with the energy to focus on the team and return it to what it once was. End of story.

That's pretty concerning. If it's player rebellion and he can't afford to sit those players, then we're in deep trouble.
I blame Vanney the most for this loss. He put the team in a bad position out the gate with a slow midfield and if not for the ref we would have been down 2 at half based on his stupid choices for starting this game. You do not start Sasha in midfield at ALTITUDE!! You do not start Cabral at forward anymore!!! Ugh!!! Vanney brings in speed in the 2nd half, and what do you know an actual quick attack starts getting generated. But then he brings in Vasquez and the midfield's speed drops all but instantly and the attack promptly disappears with its loss. This is made worse by players getting baited into dumb yellow cards and then allowing a legit 2nd goal on a bad turnover. Vasquez was better than Sasha tonight, but he is still way too slow. And you don't have to like Costa, but of the older midfielders he was not the problem for the 3rd game in a row; nor did he slow down the attack. An attack that came down Victor's wing of the pitch for the majority of the 2nd half after he came into this game. If you believe otherwise not only did we not watch the same game but frankly I have to question your soccer IQ. VANNEY VANNEY VANNEY!!! You put Cabral up top next to DeJan where he will be pretty much useless as the Dude Sucks In Front Of Goal!!! Again For the Love of God, if you are not going to take advantage of his speed on the wing and his ability to serve the ball from that position, you keep his A$$ on the Bleeding Bench!! Hell I would rather see Vasquez as a 2nd striker because HE AT LEAST KNOWS HOW TO SCORE AND HE WON'T NEED TO PLAY HEAVY DEFENSE IF HE IS THAT CLOSE TO GOAL!!! Playing Edwards in the midfield was not a bad idea but it is wasted when you consider the rest on the midfield. $10 bucks says Bruce Arena would have played Julian on the opposite side and had Leerdam underneath at Right Back as the name of the game would be to go as defensive as possible and try to earn a point; and if we win awesome, but getting at least ONE POINT IS PARAMOUNT!!!
