SKC hosts Real Esteli tonight in the CCL. Revs have done pretty well this season when facing a team that is on short rest. SKC ended a 4-game losing streak with a 4-0 thumping of Chivas TBD a week ago Friday, and were on bye last weekend.
SKC up 1-0, currently the 65th minute on Esteli. Very physical match. Zussi getting pounded on. Hopefully the physical style continues and Esteli really takes a lot out of SKC Friday. No Dywer, Sapong, Ellis or Kempin tonight. SKC just put in a PK to go up 2-0. Probably will get Zussi out soon
3-0 SKC on a corner in the 79th minute. Hopefully these 2 CL matches haven't given SKC too much confident which they were previously missing.
Hoping it doesn't mean anything, but Jeff Lemieux noted that JJ wasn't on the field at practice today (and they fly out this afternoon).
Every team's star players get hacked and whacked. Heaps did his share of it during his playing days so he knows what that's all about. It's a physical league, JJ has to get used to more contact and crappier refs.

This will be a true test for the team --- I hope they show up better prepared than against Cowbus.... GO REVS!
Revs have, in general, recently played this team pretty well. I'm hoping for the same, but with a positive result. SKC is a pretty lackluster 5-3-6 at home, 21 of a possible 42 points (50%), which is surprising and a +5 GD. They actually have a higher % of points on the road (24 of 45, 53%). Revs on the other hand have been much better at home (29 of 45, 64%) than on the road (13 out of 42, 31%). Revs are a -11 on the road this year in GD.
Happy matchday! Absolutely need Jones for 90 tonight. Would be nice to score first too!!! That might be asking too much though!
Nashua viewing tonight includes a 4-7 Happy Hour and then the game. This could be a great night. Or... turn to shit night.
C'mon! Captain Literal told me that Heaps was indeed standing out in the field. But I heard he once played basset ball for some college down south.
