Can someone who has been to large events at Gillette give me some advice regarding when I should try to get to the stadium? I’m not the tailgating type so I don’t want to get there too early. Would trying to get there by 5:00 give me enough cushion for traffic? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You should be okay, but still there will be some congestion at that time.

Too bad the Revs weren't a contender and then it would REALLY be a crazy atmosphere.

Given the Revs struggles, this will be a pro-Messi atmosphere (and I can't say that won't be me either)

Agreed with what John said. You should be OK. But plan for a mess post-game. Going to the stadium will probably be busiest around 3-3:30 when the lots open, but people come in at varying times so after that till about 6:30 you should be OK. But post-game, when 50k of the 60k all try and leave right after the game ends (and the rest of us tailgate) is always a disaster.

Ironic that the Revs game gets Twellman on the broadcast, only because it is Miami...

Fasten your seatbelts, fellow fans: This could get ugly. Based on previous matches, I imagined that we might lose 4-3, Based on last weeks offensive performance, we could get shut out.

He's great. He has pointed out the elephants in the rooms for years. He'd done so much for the sport in this country.
His most famous quote -to date- will go down in USA soccer history: "What are we doing?!!!!!!"

    (Bolding is mine).

That's the part that scares me. Porter may have been encouraged by Saturday's performance, but I don't think anyone else was.

I can only hope we can stop them at 0-5. I fear we could set a new record for worst loss differential.

MLS Countdown is describing it a flu. We may not field a full 18…

I am truly worried about our chances. I hope we can hold them scoreless for at least 10 or 15 minutes. Is it a coincidence that Romney is out "sick"?

I can find no way to digest this flu news. Either we are the most cursed team in the history of sport or this is the most elaborate excuse preparation ever seen.

Of course, this is Jozy Altidore and Bruce Arena’s fault…
