* LA GALAXY vs. COLORADO RAPIDS STUBHUB CENTER | Carson, Calif. August 13, 2016 | Week 23 | MLS Game #236 10:30 pm ET (MLS LIVE, Altitude, TWCSN-LA) The Galaxy extended their undefeated streak to eight games in league play with a second consecutive draw, coming back for a 2-2 tie with the New York Red Bulls on Sunday evening at the StubHub Center. The teams are meeting for the third time this season. Marco Pappa scored the game’s lone goal five minutes into second-half stoppage time to give the Rapids the victory March 12 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park; the teams reached a scoreless draw June 22 at StubHub Center. My guess is that was first suppose to be Robbie Rodgers and they told the artist to change it to someone else. I think Cole has a bigger gripe. I wouldn't want to be portrayed as a child molester (allegedly).
Cole=MJ Keane=Bowie Zardes=Hendrix Ema=Freddie Mercury DeJong=Rob Halford(Judas Priest) Gerrard=A beatle Gio=Morrisey http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2016/0...tch-poster-august-13-match-vs-colorado-rapids
Larry has been suspended for this game(probably would've sat anyway) for a tackle in the 25' against nyrb on Sunday. http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/...committee-suspends-horst-nocerino-larentowicz
After reading the article, I guess you're talking about Jeff Larentowicz, aka Big Red, aka Ginja Ninja. He played 64 minutes against NY and 120 minutes against Dallas. The most by any field player over those two games combined. I didn't think he'd make the 18 this weekend anyways. Perhaps Bruce got word that this suspension was coming down. EDIT: Forgot about Cole going the full time in both games.
Looks almost certain no Keane. Given this is a concussion incident it makes you wonder why the hell he played 90 last weekend. http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2016/0...ndetermined-yet-colorado-rapids-match-insider Best guess: ---------Zardes--------- Lleget-----Gerrard-----Gio ---------Baggio--dejong Cole---vandam-Steres---AJ --------------Rowe----------- Seems to be the freshest/best team we could play. Cole and Baggio being the two field players used the most in the Sun/Wed games but I don't see alternatives for them really.
Sorry but a professional American football perspective this was only Raider town for a brief period in the mid 80's and I was a Raider season ticket holder for most of their stay here. However, its was a Ram town for far longer and now they are back. From a total professional sports perspective, LA was a Dodger town from 1958 on until the Lakers took over the town in the 80's and its stayed that way until Kobe's achilles injury and Jimmy Buss put some cracks in the foundation.
Freshest possibly. Sorry but I can't imagine a line-up with Gerrard being the best. His play against the Red Bulls was absolute donkey excrement. I would take a line-up of Gordon/McBean (if available) and Gio in Gerrard's spot over one with the king of the center circle in it.
McBean is on loan at Coventry City. Hope it goes better for him then it did for Cobi Jones. I'd be open to starting Gordon up top, moving Zardes wide and replacing either Gerrard or tired Baggio with Gio in the middle.
