Im starting to see why Klinsmann has been just a backup overseas. He’s good at shots from 20+ yards but he has looked a bit kludgy when 1v1. Terrible defense in front of him though.
Yeah. But Pavon won’t make any difference without a new FO, coaching staff and players around him..... So not sure losing him is what we should really care about.
Both really. I didn't like being pressured to make a decision about renewing when they wanted it, plus the product they have put on the field the last couple years.
There's still a slim chance to reach the playoffs so it might be early to talk about 2021. But after the DTK comments, it sounds Chicharito is staying and our best player is gone. Add the fact Pipo Gonzalez probably has a contract for 2021 (waste of money and international spot) and we may give a chance to Klinsmann as a starting keeper (still not sold on him), it's easy to already be depressed.
I Keep coming to these threads hoping to see a firing. And I keep being disappointed. At this point the scorelines don't matter. We need the overhaul. That's what I'm waiting for! So...no analysis. Why bother?
Depuy was at fault or near at fault on the first 3 goals IMO. He stands like a rooted tree. We need to build a competent defense or we will be here next season crying again.
