Okay, Vancouver needed to win by 2 to clinch a spot and they did, so the final Round of 16 spot will be either NYCFC, Houston or Us. Houston wins and they get it. Tie or we win by 1 or 2 goals, it goes to NYCFC. We win by 3 or more and it is ours....

The chatter on Twitter, that I have seen, has been entirely hopeless and negative. And, I agree with that. We totally collapsed after going up 2-1. GBS has no answers. But, didn’t we start a bit spry, force things, and play faster with those young guys to start the last game?
And so they did, amazing. I thought you had made an error and Chicago won by two but no. I went to go see the higlights and yes indeedy, Vancouvers did the deed. I say amazing because Vancouver has been awful and as some of you know they came into the tournament with 5 less player than they intended and this is a team that is not loaded by any stretch. So missing were two defenders plus 3 forwards Cavallini, Tosaint and Ricketts. If that wasnt enough, their goalkeeper suffrered a broken thumb I believe so literally they got a goaly from the Impact last night on loan. LOL That's some gritty stuff right there. Ok, now back to the Galaxy vigil...

I just wanted to say -- as we prepare to ride this dumpster fire off a very steep cliff, that there is no group of soccer fans with whom I would rather plummet in a dumpster to a spectacular, fiery death, than everyone here. I hope we are magically rescued before the dumpster hits and explodes, but since that is unlikely, I just wanted you all to know that you are my favorites.

I don't see that team scoring 3 goals, but it's probably one of the best line-ups we can put out unfortunately. Happy to see Depuy for Gonzalez.
