Any idea on starting XI? I am guessing: ----------------Hernandez---------------- ---Pavon------Kjlestan--------Lletget----- ---------Kitchen-------Corona------------ --Insua---Depuy---Gonzalez--Felscher--- ----------------Bingham------------------
Corona suspended for the game (carry over for red card 135k COVID deaths ago.) So I'd expect to see Alverez start or maybe that Wild kid. I have low expectations for this tourney. Best we can hope for is that Hernandez looks involved (maybe he scores?) and maybe a kid or two looks promising. I'd expect Steres and Gonzalez in the middle. As for Portland, this article suggests they won't be at full strength either. Still, I consider them a tournament favorite. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020...ature-mls-back-tournament-after-fathers-death No Flores, Mora or Asprilla for PT. Not their huge stars but guys that do get minutes.
Any one else feeling anxious for game time? I’m concerned our weak midfield won’t be able to handle Portland.
Our weakass team won't be able to handle portland. Our defense is not even top half of the league in terms of quality. Midfield is alright but too many players play the same spot. Offense is a wild card. Pavon is one of the best in the league, but Hernandez looked poo but he is a notorious slow starter. Then we also lost Katai and got no one to replace him.
I hope we win. Gonna have to watch on DVR later this evening so I’ll be back on after to catch up with everyone.
Yeah, close to game time I always get anxious plus start sipping on the coolaide that yes indeed! We can do this! Portland a favorite?.... We haven't seen what they are bringing to the table this tournament. I will walk with you as far as "among" a bunch of others but not favorite, favorite. That far, I let you go. G O G A L A X Y ! ! !
Not judging. Just throwing my two cents down for effect. I haven't seen anybody in our group play for the longest time. If the loggers put the chainsaw to us and feed us to the gators?... you may have a point and I will give you much props.
The goats are finding out why we dislike facing friggin Houston. If you are not watching that game, watch it later on if you can. C'mon GALAXY!
LET'S GO, GALAXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***Out wide on the left is 17-year-old Cameron Dunbar, a product of the LA Galaxy Academy. Dunbar will make his first start and appearance overall in MLS. Since 2015, he has scored over 70 goals in the U.S. Developmental Academy from the U-16 and up level.
I have to believe Lleget will spend a lot of time central because kitchen and Sacha alone in middle seems like a recipe for disaster. Excited to see Dunbar. Not sure I’ve seen him much.
Game Time!!!! We are going 4-4-2 ------------Chicha---Pavon Dunbar---Kitchen--Sasha--Lleget Insua------Pipo--Steres--Feltscher
Woo Hoo! What time is it? Game time! Woo! Go Galaxy! I hope we win and I hope we play hard and with heart!
I’ve seen Dunbar a lot the last few years in the DA. Quick, good at playing the final ball and finishing. Very good crosser. Of course, that was all against 16-17 year olds. In the scrimmage, he was good but looked raw. He’s also pretty small. Excited to see him get a chance.
Here is a link to the radio broadcast for those without cable. I am looking for a stream still for those who want to watch online Edit: Here is a stream for those in need http://cdn.livetv.sx/webplayer.php?t=ifr&c=1414721&lang=en
Is the league going to be doing the Colin Kaepernick kneel every game or just for the first game of each team in the tourney?
