Rapids play at a football team in Dallas Saturday, April 7 at 6PM, Colorado time. TV is Altitude 2 apparently. Rapids are going to win 3-2.

Dallas 2-1 with a goal in extra time. We're all heartsick as Pareja walks around the field high fiving his players. (Okay, so I'm in a bad mood.) Mason scores.
So the Avalanche play at 7 pm meaning the Rapids are relegated to the to a channel that many in this area don't get. As for the match, I suspect Boli will be in the XVIII and will be a second half substitute. Serna and Sjóberg will start. I thought Serna played very well last match in terms of attacking tactics and now is his chance to prove he deserves to be in the starting XI. Sjóberg is in the same boat. Until he got on the pitch when Wilson was wondering where he might fit in. When Ford was lost to injury Wynne took his spot. He seemed to be out of favor and I really wasn't sure the he fit the system Hudson has installed. Go get 'em Axel! As for the rest of the starting XI, it will be those that started the last match minus Wilson and Hairston. Supposedly FCD's defense is slow. And Pareja's got a reputation for de-emphasizing defense. Go get 'em Badji!
Actual must-win game for the Avs. Last game of the regular season for both teams, Blues are one point up for the last wild card spot.
Anyone know if this will be blacked out on MLS Live? Pretty sure Xfinity will show this but just in case...
Quit stealing my prediction! 2-1 loss, goal by Mason. The Rapids have not been a good road team for a while (one win in the last 19 road games, with never more than a single goal scored) and the Dallas is finishing a 4 game homestand to start the season. Odds are not good for Colorado to break its road woes tomorrow. I think we continue to improve and we don't look outmatched, but Dallas gets the result. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2018/04/rapids-head-to-ther-favorite-playoff.html
Blacked out here, but its Channel 900 on Comcast systems in the Denver area. My DVR picks it up as a scheduled recording. The only reason it wouldn't be shown is if somebody at Comcast (or maybe Altitude, not sure who's responsibility it is) forgets to flip the switch. As bad as Altitude has been in the past, this FO seems more organized to prevent such things from happening.
It’s going to be another cold and windy game. Rapids have not had decent weather so far this season. Every game they have had to take wind as a factor.
Anyone with DirecTV, game is on ch. 681-1. Not sure but it might require a relatively inexpensive Sports Package subscription ($5/month I think?)
2-1 Rapids. Goals by Enzo and Smith. Enzo’s been close for several games now and clearly isn’t afraid to pull the trigger. Think he finds one today. Smith gets a header on a set piece.
It's game number 700 for our club tonight. Let's celebrate with #ThreePoints.⚽️ #DALvCOL⏰ 6:00 PM🏟️ Toyota Stadium📺 @AltitudeTV 2📻 @Altitude950📝 https://t.co/CSdoOnHpU2 pic.twitter.com/ix6lVbAeBi— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) April 7, 2018 Looks like the wind will ease off a bit by game time. The chill should favor the Rapids.
Let's keep the momentum going!📝 Roster Notes: https://t.co/rk82to51bO#Rapids96 | #DALvCOL pic.twitter.com/G8PyEggs6R— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) April 7, 2018 Boli not in the 18 either and Colvey starting rather than Serna, Boateng starting rather than Martinez.
Continuing to see a fairly nagging trend of non-existent big names from the roster. Gashi all year last year. Gashi all year this year. While I like him, I feel like Aigner has had almost zero impact on the this teams trajectory since he was signed last summer. Boli has been here for two weeks and he can’t even make the 18? I hate to make Zlatan comparisons, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that he landed in LA on Thursday and was on the pitch by Saturday (let alone scoring incredible goals). Pretty stark contrast from what we have seen. Honest question....Is it just an incredible string of poor injury luck? Or are we erring WAY on the conservative side with our minutes and players?
Aigner has now been on the roster for 21 competitive matches. He's started 5 and made 5 appearances as a sub.
Apparently at least for Aigner the technical staff is letting him make the call on when he's ready and he's one of those types that if he can't be at 100% he's not going to say he's ready. At some point they need to tell him to suck it up and play at 90%.
