I say replace Berhalter with Keat and put Birchall in the midfield. I don't want to see one single starter on the field. Also, I really want to see McBean play in a non-reserve game.

Pretty close to what I had:

    Ricketts (bench = Perk)
Franklin - Berhalter (c) - Robinson - [anyone who can play LB]
    Jimenez - Birchall/Keat - Keat/Kirovski (the farewell match) - Stephens
    Lopez Cristman

EDIT: We want McBean, that's fine with me.
Also, good point on Berhalter. I'm fine with him coming out and McCarty going in. Someone somewhat senior does need to be on the pitch to be the veteran though. If Berhalter comes off, captain's armband goes to Birchall or Kirovski. I don't see Bruce going without a single veteran in the line-up.

I'm very much looking forward to this game, just to see what kind of quality we have in our depth. Here's to hoping McBean gets a full 90 and is McLegit.

It'd be great to get a win... but I'll be happy with everyone coming away healthy.

We should just call this game "Franklin's Return Game." That's about the only important thing about it at all.

    Totally agree.

The one question mark I have is wondering whether Bruce will send Landon out for 30. He really hasn't played a game since RSL, and IF he's fully healed (if he's not, he shouldn't see any time), they might want him to just be "in motion" for 30 minutes and feeling the pitch.

We haven't seen him in ages, Bruce might want to get his energy going.

Then again, a rested LD may be the best LD as we've learned this season, so I lean towards no time.

Yes I think we can all just take this as a scrimmage between our reserve players + some starters who need fitness vs the starting XI of the houston dynoturds. Now would be a good time to check out some other footy, Like this weekend shifting focus on El superclassico de mexico America v $hitvas de guacamole! And over in jolly old england the derby of manchester United v City! Glory glory ManUnited!

I actually wanna see how our reserves do in this match. I know they have been doing horribly in the reserve league, but still...
In particular, I wanna see how to following players perform (assuming they play on Sunday):
    Sean Franklin
    McBean
    Keat
    Jimenez
    Robinson

Yeah, I don't think Landon will play.

I was just about to post the same thing StillKickin.

The quad injury ended up removing him for 4 weeks, which is about what I would have expected anyway. Luckily it happened at a good time for the club with our breaks (though not the national team).

Hey, guys, did you see this? Bruce is a smart man.

Based on the twitter world, I spy the following in Houston:

    Ricketts
    Jimenez
Juninho - kinda annoyed he's playing, stay safe!
    Ryan Thomas (who?)
    AJ
    Birchall
    Sean
    Mcbean

Should be an interesting line-up tomorrow. Wonder if AJ's playing RB.

Left back, Stanford (although I guess he wasn't left back, ha ha!)

I saw him in reserves game and he didn't impress. I guess this is his chance.

At this point, I don't want to see any big names out there. Rest 'em all. Last thing I want is injuries and yellow card accumulation.

Let's break out the Englishman Dan Keat in the midfield. Have Dasan Robinson and Ryan Thomas defend in front of Brian Perk, so they can pass the ball to Dustin McCarty in mid, who then long balls it to 6' forward Jack McBean. GOAL! And it'll be from people nobody's ever seen in their life.

I want to win this game with our C team. Just to screw with everyone's heads going into the playoffs, just like God.

    Reverend Tommy Mack.

PS: Yep, they're all on the active roster. I looked 'em up.

This is a big game for Houston. A 2 goal win gives them home field for the play-in game. (Not sure if a 1 goal win does the same.)

Dan Keat is a Kiwi, not an Englishman.
