Stand up and cheer for the LA Galaxy, Alan Gordon demands it. What is it with the Sunday/Friday/Wednesday/Monday games? Saturday night at home, our rightful time and place in the world, is such an exception for us this year. Broadcast is on ESPN2. We get the NY lads fresh off their demolition of our rivals for the supporters shield. Thank you, New York. Don't expect the same treatment from us. Seattle now has a tough matchup with our last opponent, in Dallas, on Wednesday night. Hopefully Seattle will still be a bit tired and resting on their Open Cup laurels. So I hope everyone is going to make their way out to the StubHub Center. I always hate how many New York fans are spread throughout the stadium whey they visit us. Their cheers make me sad. Let's break their little red hearts and drop them into the California sun. Go Galaxy!
The three best players in MLS will all be on the field at StubHub Sunday. Luckily, 2/3 of them play for us. Should be quite an electric match.
Things are tight at the top. And the season is running out of games. I hereby declare the opening of "squeaky bum time."
Playing at home, with our starters, on one week's rest, there's no reason we shouldn't torch these dipsticks. Let's bury them in tiki-tacos. BTW, don't you think it's time Rogers scored a goal? Yes, it's time. C'mon Rogers, get that shot a little lower, under the crossbar and get a goal.
I can't wait for this game! For whatever reason the DPs of both teams tend to up their game when we play one another, and plus there's BWP and Landon's assist chase. Won't be watching live, so once again will have to avoid all forms of social media for awhile.
Mr. Rogers is due to score one: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...&mid=CC30BCDD591F3C573738CC30BCDD591F3C573738
Rogers doesn't even try to shoot any more, does he? But, if a rebound dropped at his foot, it would be cool if he blasted one in. Go G's!
Had a pretty wicked shot in the Dallas game. I forget now if it was just over or if Fernandez got his fingertips to it.
I'm making the trip down from the Central Coast for this one, got tickets weeks ago and the time has just been draggin'. I wish this game were tomorrow night but it should be a good one regardless. I can't wait!
I'm going and bringing the whole family. Gonna try my luck with the scalpers, who last time sold me "luxury seats" for $30. (currently selling at about $100). GO GALAXY!!!
In his defense, he was new to MLS. And he was playing against the likes of Chris Birchall and Brian Jordan. The league has really grown since then.
