Game is tomorrow and there was no gameday thread so I decided to make one. First one ever and hopefully it brings some good luck. No Donovan or Keane for this one and we are up against a good team but their recent form has dipped but we haven't won in a long time. Last place in the west and only Philly and Toronto are below us in the MLS. I hope we don't lose to our 2 biggest rivals within 5 days.

Week after week I get my hopes up, only to get crushed.

Now, I am anticipating a crushing humiliation and will be delighted with some other result.

    In closing, f*** San Jose.

    Cheers,

I can't decide if I should go to the game tomorrow (which I got a pair of free tickets to) or attend my high school's senior awards night (which I got invited to). The possibility of a bad loss without LD or Keane and possibly tired legs plus our very bad form is causing me to lean towards going to the awards night...then again, awards night doesn't feel special since almost everyone got invited...

    decisions, decisions...

In a sick sort of way if we were really out of playoff contention I would pay cash money to insert Magee just to mess with San Jose.

    I think we'll see this...

we could see Leo back in the starting lineup. i think i remember reading that he was going the full 90 in reserve matches. even if not in the best form, he has to be better than anybody else we can put in that position, right??

wouldn't mind seeing this either...just for kicks.

    God I hope so.

We need to play as a unit, and defend!!!

A right side of Franklin + Jordan makes me want to hurl.

Hope Mrs. Gertrude Lambert is awesome.

I don't know where you heard that but Leo has played 45 min in our last reserve match and 10 min in the match before that. I would be very surprised if he is ready to go 90 minutes. Would love to see him get some minutes but would hate for him to be rushed back too soon.

That's correct. He went 45 minutes the last reserve game. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays against San Jose. Lenhart isn't exactly going to push him from a speed perspective.

I actually saw him at the Sports Authority in West LA last night. He looked pretty good (but not as good as the woman on his arm).

And it just gets better and better:

A.J. DeLaGarza has been added to the injury report as questionable because of a bruised heel.

Potentially no AJ and no Lopes.

Hope Meyer and [Leonardo?] are ready?

Len-jerk has got to be licking his lips. A rookie and a guy who has been out for a year. Sigh.

What ever you know what I mean.
If you don't have any Idea why these blue, smurfet rapping aholes are hated then you did not live the early 00's with the G's. Do you remember the hanging in effigy of Landon when he left the darkside. They hated him and we loved it. When Uncle phil bought them and closed them just to give smurf nation a stroke. that was awsome. We destroyed them at their prime and sent the remains to Houston. but Like a week they are starting to come back. As for the game, we have to win. Its gonna be tough but anything is better than having to listen to them crying and blaming AEG.

I was out of town and just watched the Chivas USA game. My god.

Someday, I do have faith, we will win another game. Maybe this weekend we'll actually either 1) Score a goal from the run of play or 2) post a clean sheet. Miracles can happen.

I'd give Sarvas another start. The guy at least seems to want it. At this point we need to play with a huge 'tude.

Can't wait for Saunders to get back. I don't think our goalkeepers have been helping us any.

We have to travel to Cary, NC to play the Carolina Railhawks in the US Open Cup game now scheduled for Tuesday night. I wonder if that will affect Bruce's personnel decisions at all. Four games in a little over a week. Normally, I would say that Bruce wouldn't care at all about the USOC game and would basically send a glorified reserve squad to NC. Given the way this season has progressed, though, I wonder if he will take it more seriously in hopes that we can at least win something.

I actually really love this formation, perhaps push AJ next to Juni and put Leonardo in the mix if he can.

HOWEVER, this is Bruce we are talking about and his lineups have been ALL OVER THE PLACE. He loves giving AJ new partners so why not new positions now? So expect to see this:

    --------------Noonan---AJD-------------
    Gaudette-----Franklin--Keat----Magee-
    Beckham---Meyer----Perk-------Lopes
    ------------------Keane------------------

Ah jeez if AJ is out then we are really screwed. A Meyer-Keat pairing is just laughable. We might as well not show up if those two are our starting CBs. Good news though, no Wondolowski. Although sadly, Lenhart would probably destroy those two in the air.

HAHA.. 11 days to get my high-tec, low res, spiffy new "Avatar" uploaded. Thanks Bigsoccer 9k file limit size, I am shocked that the servers haven't crashed yet.

San Jose history of crapiness this past half decade has undermined my extreme hatred for that cat eating, trailer park, barf-bowl & rancid burrito smelling sh*t hole they call a city. If I had the coordinates to San Jose, I would call North Korea to plant one of their pigeon guided bombs on that disaster of a city and wipe out the entire population of vietnamese hot-cat carts, where you sprinkle a little catnip and cilantro
    on your taco's du jour.

So who told the earthquakes they were allowed to have a decent team, a decent record, and their
fans a inkling of hope this year?

Did the dozens of earthquake fans get together at Soccerball head guys house and start a chain letter campaign in crayon to the commisioner.

Maybe the team actually found a site for their "new" stadium. an Indiam burial ground, toxic waste dump, animal testing graveyard, ex sulfer mining facility, argon gas testing grounds, Or Alan Gordon's tribute to John Wayne Gacy house where he buried his white pants, and pink polo shirts and doochey faux hawk hair gel from circa 2008

    Either way.

The Blue and Black clown brigade is coming today... and it would be a sad day if the neanderthalic legal team of Wondo(whateverski) Lenhart and/or leadfoot Jesus came up into our house and scored
a win. That shant happen. LD will probably be missing due to NT call up, and someone needs to assert the importance of this match to The Burger King himself how important it is for us not to lose to
    San Jose at home.

Someone call the Men's Warehouse and make sure Bruce is wearing his best "I don't know what the f*uck is going on here suit". Oh while were at it, stuff cobi jones back into his high school graduation suit then promptly turn his mic down to like 2 so we can't hear what he has to say.... could you do that for me KDOC. Or how about you get a couple dudes from outside the home depot to go dig up Wally George's corpse and peel away his old desk mic i'm sure he was buried with seeing that it is probably
a better mic than you give your current talent.

Last point, Tonights game should have an attendance cap being in the middle of the week. Last week's Chivas game was the saddest thing I have ever seen a not even half full stadium for a "classico" Ugh. How come everytime I play FIFA 2012 my Home Depot Center is packed to the gills.... no matter who I play. Why doesn't ESPN, Foxsoccer, and KDOC hire whoever fills the seats for FIFA 2012 to fill the stands with fake people as to at least give us the illusion a game was a sell out, even though MLS and the Galaxy will tell you it was... when there were really 14k.

We better be taking it seriously. It is our best chance at winning a trophy this year and the easiest route into the CCL.
