Very nice passing sequence leading up to the goal with 7 Zulte guys in the box.

Goal Brugge. Good combination play in the box for the first time today. OO not involved, but hopefully this will help him relax, and help the manager relax about keeping him in.

Waregem's looking like a releg candidate this season.

OO is the man left behind as sweeper when everybody's moving forward. It may be a better idea, it's a simpler job.

Last few involvements have been simple and clean. Would be so nice to play that way the rest of the way.

So far he's looked significantly better. Already cutting plays and shielding the ball. Good manager too, he saw the problem.

Of course this is made possible because Waregem is a one-trick pony. The thing to take note is that OO needs a simple role with clear instructions.

lost the ball for a corner

On the corner, there was a scramble of a loose ball. OO clear it with a header.

Which is completely understandable given his inexperience and rust issues.

hes legitimately been good this half. A few nice interceptions on defense.

Yes, looks more confident. Brugge putting their stamp on the game. He is a beast when he goes in for the tackle.

So, Brugge switched up from 3 in back to 4 back this half?

At 6'2 195, is like having another Deke on defense.

And his night is done. He did much better in the second half.

And just like that is a tied game. Right back got beat on the cross.

And that's a shift. Better second half, he can improve. The problem is that Brugge is not the sort of club where you go to learn the basics of tactical defending.

    LOL they tied.

Looks like a knock for OO and he gets subbed off at 67'. And like that, SVZW equalizes.

Otasowie off due to injury, and Waregem immediately equalize. Looked like his replacement was a little out of position, which allowed a dangerous cross to enter the box.

They concede the second he comes off an we can all pretend like it wasn't a coincidence.

Having watched Juliper a lot these last two years I agree. The league is helter skelter, all over the place most of the time.
    Fun but wild.

I’ve only watched a few games the past few weeks, but it is pretty similar to MLS, imo. It seems like a very good entry point into Europe for homegrown MLS players.
